McCain Drops the C-Bomb on the C-Bomb He Married

All the political world is abuzz today with allegations in a new book that 16 years ago John McCain called his wife a word that every man in the world should know better than to ever, ever, ever call a woman in his life…
John McCain's temper is well documented. He's called opponents and colleagues "shitheads," "assholes" and in at least one case "a fucking jerk." But a new book on the presumptive Republican nominee will air perhaps the most shocking angry exchange to date:
Three reporters from Arizona, on the condition of anonymity, also let me in on another incident involving McCain's intemperateness. In his 1992 Senate bid, McCain was joined on the campaign trail by his wife, Cindy, as well as campaign aide Doug Cole and consultant Wes Gullett.
At one point, Cindy playfully twirled McCain's hair and said, "You're getting a little thin up there." McCain's face reddened, and he responded, "At least I don't plaster on the makeup like a trollop, you [word that starts with 'c', rhymes with 'hunt', is interchangeable with 'Michelle Malkin', and somehow doesn't sound as bad when said by an Englishman]." McCain's excuse was that it had been a long day.
I can empathize with McCain. I've had long days like that.
Once, I was having a really long day — man, that day must have been, like, four miles long — and I called my girlfriend that word. I woke up about seven hours later in the hospital.
Turned out she was having a longer day.

Hey, but he’s not telling people to fuck themselves on the floor of the Senate like Dick Cheney.
Hmmm… I think I misplaced a modifier or two…
With a hair-trigger like that – do we want him anywhere near a red button?
Are you serious? There is NO excuse to speak to someone, esp. your wife like that. It doesn't matter "how long" your day was. That is such a bogus, lame excuse. I wouldn't stand for it.
No day is that long to call anyone, esp. your wife that. That is such a bogus, lame excuse. I wouldn't have tolerated that. If he said that, that was his heart speaking, and that was darn nasty.
Keep him away from the H-bomb.
16 years ago, 3 anonymous sources heard about an anecdote of McCain getting mad. Yeah, I can understand their reluctance to come out in the light… this is SUCH a huge issue… NOT.
What is this, New York Times part 2 – Anonymous smears gone wild?
