Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart More Influential than Barack Obama
As of Saturday morning, Barack Obama, Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert are all struggling for the coveted #2 spot on Time Magazine's 100 Most Influential People.
The #1 spot, of course, is held by Korean pop sensation, Rain.
Stewart and Colbert are not only leading Barack Obama, but also Hillary Clinton, who comes in at #11, and John McCain, who clocks in at #52.
Also of note, former Republican hopeful Mike Huckabee at #38 is actually beating the presumptive nominee on the list. Maybe they made the wrong choice.
To vote for any of these folks go to Time Magazine.
Vote for Stephen Colbert
Vote for Jon Stewart
UPDATE: As of 7:30 on Sunday evening, Stephen Colbert has taken the lead and is now in the #1 place .
In other news, Barack Obama is one place behind Britney Spears, John McCain is struggling to win 50th place back from the cast of High School Musical, and poor Hillary Clinton is slightly less influential than Perez Hilton, but happily more influential than North Korean dictator Kim Jong Il:

I started when watching the colbert report about two years ago. I must say if i miss the show, i can't eat i can't sleep i can't function with everyday life. So, of course Stephen Colbert is a huge influence in my life, if it wasn't for him i would say "Barak Owho?" Keep on Keeping on Steve you are the man of the new age!

To all you Colbert fans here, I hear you talking so much about how the show keeps you going, but if you have not gone out and purchased his book then you are falling short for a Colbert Nation fan! I am 100% behind Stephen Colbert, and no offense to Jon Stewart But if they could just take him off the air and make the Colbert Report an hour long that would be swell, and not too many people would object, except for those gun-toting, bigoted, uneducated types, and who needs them anyways! Just sayin….
Vote Colbert for Supreme Ruler of the Universe!

I'm rooting for Jon Stewart. No, the show hasn't been the same since the writers' strike (too few correspondent segments? less funny correspondents? who knows?) but I still love him.
I would love to see a debate between Obama and Clinton moderated by either Jon Stewart or Stephen Colbert. Then we might get real answers to our questions.
