Jon Stewart: John McCain's Sweet Talk Express Rolls Past the Media's Lemming-like Claws
John McCain boasts the endorsement of a controversial spiritual leader, doesn't sport an American flag pin on his lapel and escapes the brunt of the media's furor:

As a veteran of Vietnam, I don't see McCain as a hero. I ask how many women and children did he kill during his runs over North Vietnam? He did receive very harsh punishment from the Vietnamese but that doesn't make him a hero. He is just a smarter version of Bush. The media is so afraid of offending the far right it lets McCain off with no hard questions. He offers no real change to the Bush doctrine.
The sad truth is there no longer exists a media which is unbiased. The scrutiny of our leaders has turned into infomercials filled with half-truths, misrepresentations and outright lies. This path that ABC, CBS and NBC are going down will be their eventual demise. Fox noise is proof that you can lie to and lead the people. With the continual eroding of NPR by the Republican agenda the day is fast approaching where any journalist trying to report truth will become the next Republican witchhunt. Until we are willing to force our elected officials to act independently of big business there will be no "By the People and For the People"

I find all the candidates love for clean coal totally pointless. Bill Clinton came to speek at my school not too long ago, and he was pushing it 'clean coal' this and 'clean coal' that. Really it is not much better than burning regular coal. The only real difference being that it lets off less sulfur when burns. And when he mentioned it well over half the student body stared at him as if he were crazy….

my theory is that all the people feel sad because he is so old, he feels like a great-great-grandfather to the anchors, and the anchors feel bad scrutinizing their grandpa's.

Over 75% of all media in this country (tv, radio, magazines, newspapers) is owned by 6 corporations. That's about as big as big business gets. The people who own (stock) and run these corporations are Republican campaign contributors. So you either report the news your bosses want you to or you find another job. (See Dan Rather) If the media in this country has anything to say about it, we will have a Republican President in 2009. The media will kid glove McCain all the way to the White House if the voters let them. And if that doesn't work, I hope those voting machines are secure.

Michael Moore Expresses Conflicting Views & Support…..?

I joined the NAACP in 1975. I have fought for Civil Rights for decades. To hear Michael Moore put down U.S. Senator Clinton over U.S. Senator Obama is showing he is a sexist pig for starters. We have the most qualified, experienced person to be our next president at the most needed time now. That time is for U.S. Senator Hillary Clinton.
U.S. Senator Hillary Clinton has 35 years of leadership behind her. She will start on day one when she moves into the White House to return Democracy ruled as a Republic. U.S. Senator Clinton when she is elected President will start on the restoration of the 'Economy'. Making 'Gasoline' once again being affordable as there is no shortage of Oil, only the Greed for Oil for the 1% Far Right Rich. Exxon Oil reported a $10 Billion profit just this past quarter. There is no reason for the price qouging being practiced to cripple American citizens. Now we know the meeting Dick Cheney had with the major Oil Companies in secret was a well worked out plan, code name (Trojan Horse) to put into action to bring down America to their knees and fill the pockets of the 1% Far Right Rich in America. First they needed 9/11 to happen. Then they needed an 'Unjust War' in the Mid East to happen. Then they were ready to have 'Trojan Horse' go full blast. Well it has all happened as they planned.
When U.S. Senator Obama has many more years of experience, leadership skills and the investigation is done about his money issues, he could continue in the U.S. Senate as long as he is elected again. This is of course is as long as U.S. Senator Obama is not indited on criminal charges connected to Tony Rezko.
For U.S. Senator Obama delay of responding by many years when he was former State Senator Obama of Illinois and then U.S. Senator Obama concerning the hate statements of Rev. Wright, only shows what type of person U.S. Senator Obama really is and how he would fail on leadership skills as President. We have had this type of failed leadership for the past 8 years and we surely do not need a repeat performance for the next 4 years with U.S. Senator Obama as President. When asked questions about Rev. Wright and why he did not respond sooner and waited 7 years to respond, U..S. Senator Obama tap danced in responding and his wife Mrs. Obama had to help him answer. Is this what we expect in a President? No, we expect one running for President and becomes our next President to be able to respond in fast order, as we can not wait for 'just one more cow' to come in from the fields for the daily milking. America has been milked dried the past 8 years and we can not afford for one more minute to live through this disaster nightmare to live through over again in the next 4 years from our White House.
Michael Moore has brought up the vote that U.S. Senator Clinton made for war? When the vote was not to go to war but to allow the inspectors to complete in Iraq if there were any weapons of mass distruction. We surely discovered there were never any WMD in Iraq and Emperor George W. Bush and his Dick went on the fast track. Most would say they bypassed any evidence and lied to the U.S. Citizens, Congress and the United Nations. They used Powell then as their pasty to justify an unjustfied act of war with their 1960's graphics shown by Secretary of State Collin Powell at the United Nations. We have seen Secretary of State Collin Powell throw away his political and military profession down the drain by selling America down the river. What makes a person want to appear to have their amazing 15 minutes of fame? By Powell doing so he destroyed what ever accredibility he ever had before. This beyond any logical conclusion for this type of personality disorder.
U.S. Senator Obama has voted 85% of the time to support and continue the funding of the 'Unjust War' in the Mid East. Does this sound like someone who states if they had been in the U.S. Senate they would of voted 'No' on the War? U.S. Senator Obama can state anything he wants to but we have to remember his words and actions speak for what he had done since he became a U.S. Senator. There is not a U.S. Senator who voted for Emperor Bush and his Dick to go to war. It was a vote to allow the inspectors to discover any weapons of mass destruction. So to continue to bash U.S. Senator Clinton is a false judgment by U.S. Senator Obama.
Just as we have also seen former National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice and now Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice sell America down the river. Rice and Powell have both sold their souls to live in the White House during their tenure in their political appointments they have accepted. It would appear they have turned their backs on 'American Blacks' for the greed of a doomed and failed fascist dictatorship.
To hear Michael Moore on Larry King Show on CNN state, Julie Nixon along with him support U.S. Senator Obama makes it even more important U.S. Senator Obama should not be President. We lived through, 'Tricky Dick Nixon Alcoholic Presidency' and 'Watergate' and 'Murdering Millions of Viet Cong' and over '58,000 American Troops Dead' and 'Millions of American Permanently Paralyzed and Disabled American Troops'. Ya, Michael Moore you and Julie Nixon make a cute pair for the fascist far right idiots.
We have failed to hear from Michael Moore concering the vote that U.S. Senator Obama made on reauthorizing the 'Patriot Act'. By so doing, U.S. Senator Obama has supported taking away the 'Civil Liberties' and 'Rights' of all American Citizens. It would appear that U.S. Senator Obama has no problem voting for a 'Fascist Agenda' which denies every American their 'Civil Rights' by supporting by his vote in the U.S. Senate reauthorizing the 'Patriot Act'. Now before U.S. Senator Obama was a U.S. Senator, he stated in 2001 he was against the 'Patriot Act'. Once again we witness the flip and flop history of now U.S. Senator Obama against Democracy to be ruled as a true Republic. Once again we have seen U.S. Senator Obamas poor judgment, lack of experience and leadership when it comes to his tap dancing on major issues he bounced back and forth when he was not a U.S. Senator and a State Senator of Illinois and what he now says as a U.S. Senator Obama. We can not have our U.S. Senators using what their views were when they were not in the U.S. Senate to justify their voting record when they are in the U.S. Senate. This is what is called being a hypocrite in the purest form. It would strongly show that U.S. Senator Obama has proven he can tap dance to what ever group he is talking to. To continue to hear Mrs. Obama and from U.S. Senator Obama wanting to tell the story of U.S. Senator Obama appears to sound like a broken record time and time again. What story are they attempting to sell the American Citizens? We as a society are long past the time to needing bedtime stories to put us to sleep but this is what is happening when it comes to hearing the same stories of U.S. Senator Obamas life journey. American Citizens are much smarter to think one votes on how U.S. Senator Obama grew up compared to what U.S. Senator Obama has done in his public service in his very limited federal political history. U.S. Senator Obama has not even had 1 Bill in the U.S. Senate passed.
We have heard that Ward Connerly a Black Republican who supports U.S. Senator Obama, once again wanting to end 'Affirmative Action.' I have listened to Ward Connerly state his support for U.S. Senator Obama for president is due to U.S. Senator Obama supporting to have 'Affirmative Action' end. It appears Ward Connerly would not be where he is today if it was not for 'Affirmative Action'. What agenda do we see again by having the associations of the likes of Ward Connerly supporting U.S. Senator Obama should be a huge wake up call to all American Citizens. If it was not for 'Affirmative Action' American Blacks would be sent back to the rear of the bus once again.
There was a time Michael Moore gave the impression he stood for the rights of the Poor and Disadvantaged. Now he has become another fat cat millionaire reported to be worth over $50 Million Dollars, that is an obese millionaire who has no focus anymore from his grass roots beginnings if they were really honest beginnings to begin with. If Michael Moore is so concerned about the American Health Care System, why does he not do something about his own health with the weight he continues to carry around? Michael Moore could surely be the poster person when it comes to the health crisis in America by the image he gives being so obese. With all the money he has made he can surely afford to eat healthy foods not like the poor Americans who can not afford the basic healthy foods due to the cost of basic foods. This is what happens to people when they go from having, "so called" little, to having so much and not keeping focused on the real needs of America Poor and Middle Class. They speak out of both ends and have lost their perspective and focus on life. Then Michael Moore did not come from poor he was from a upper middle class family.
In America we support Democracy to be ruled as a true Republic not a continued Fascist Dictatorship. Mabye Michael Moore could go on one of those Subway Diets or Jenny Craig Diet? It is stated they only cost $10 dollars a day. As much as Michael Moore likes the lime light, he could work out a deal with these two major corporations and take the weight off and make a ton of money to back his next propaganda film he feels so strongly about. Maybe as strongly as he feels about the profits it will afford him the luxury of life he has become accustomed with. From the Corporate Stocks he owns in the very companies he has gone after in his movies. That is surely an oxymoron to trash the companies in his movies he owns stock in.

For over 231 years we have had the 'Good Old Boy Club' network running America. It is finally time to have the most qualified, experienced person to be President of America and that person is U.S. Senator Hillary Clinton.
It appears Michael Moore has issues with women in authority, experience, educated and leadership in being President of the United States of America. We do not need at this time to have 4 more years of investigations of U.S. Senator Obamas connections to a 'Wise Guy' Tony Rezko dirty money that backed him in his State Senate race and U.S. Senate race. Then one can not leave out other dealings U.S. Senator Obama has had with Tony Rezko who is in jail and on trial now in Chicago.
We do not need to have U.S. Senator McCain as president as he would be a 'cookie cutter' of the disasterous Emperor Bush and his Dick fascist dictatorship administration for the greed for oil for the '1% Far Right Rich'. Nor do we need U.S. Senator McCain because he has reported Health Issues with Cancer and appears to be dealing with P.T.S.D. from Viet Nam he has never gotten professional help for and comes out in his anger issues. U.S. Senator McCain and his wife are reported to be worth over $40 Million dollars. Do you think they understand the needs of the Poor and Middle Class? U.S. Senator McCain was just on 'The View' TV program on ABC and from his own book he wrote was asked about when he was younger he went to 'Strip Club's'. U.S. Senator McCain reacted as though he had no idea what was being asked of him. When he was told it was from his own book he wrote, U.S. Senator McCain tap danced around the question. It would appear at the age of 71 years, U.S. Senator McCain is having issues with memory. When U.S. Senator McCain was running late to catch a plane at Dulles International Airport just 12 miles from Washington D.C., he discovered the 'Free Parking' lot for Congress was full. U.S. Senator McCain was reported to blow a fuse. It was one of his staff traveling with him who reminded U.S. Senator McCain he was the one in 1994 who wrote a 'Bill' that would have attempted to have the 'Free Parking' done away for National Airport and Dulles International Airport for Congressional Members, but failed in vote, 52 to 44 against passage.
We surely do not need the next President of the United States to not have the ability to remember what their left hand is doing from their right hand. We have had this shown to us by Emperor George W. Bush on TV by not knowning his left hand from his right while giving a speech.
Former U.S. President Reagan who was reported to be suffering from 'Dementia' and relied on 1st Lady Nancy Reagan to use the color of the day to plan any event of the President from her. Mrs. Reagan used 'Fortuneteller', 'Joan Quiqley' to tell her about the President Reagan's 'Health', 'Travel' and Public Apearances'. She went on the color of the day. Amazing to realize America was being run by a 'Fortuneteller'.
Emperor George W. Bush appears to be suffering from a burned out brain from all the years of drinking and recreational drugs he has never come clean to the American citizens about. America just celebrated the 5th year Anniversary of 'Mission Accomplished' by Emperor George W. Bush on the Unjust War in the Mid East. We surely know between former President Reagan, Emperor George W. Bush and U.S. Senator McCain they all have suffered a major lack of mental capacity and judgment to recall. As Emperor Bush and U.S. Senator McCain show major medical disorders in being able to speak in a balanced order in facts of reality.
U.S. Senator McCain was one of the 'Keating 5' in the Lincoln Savings & Loan Corruption Scandal'. U.S. Senator McCain should of gone to jail and not allowed to continue to be in public office. Any other American Citizen would of gone to jail for what U.S. Senator McCain got was a free, 'Get Out of Jail Pass'.
Just because U.S. Senator McCain served our country honorably does not qualify him to be president. U.S. Senator has done more flip and flop the past 20 years than anyone depending on which coast of the U.S. he is speaking to on any day of the week. We heard U.S. Senator McCain was so down in funds in his race for President he was forced to carrying a suit case and traveling by bus. Then we discover U.S. Senator McCain was really flying on his wifes Corporate Jet and writing it off in using it. Once again we see the photo op of the Far Right 1% Rich hoodwinking the American Citizens. Well, they say a photo speaks a thousands words. In U.S. Senator McCain case, his wifes Corporate Jet speaks millions of words or is that Millions of Dollars?
Michael Moore does not need a gun even though he got one when opening up a 'Banking Account' in one of his staged movies, because he has plenty of money to have paid protection when he wants it. It is a sad day after all the years of what Michael Moore has done to bring public awareness to what is happening to America, to now show his true colors against women and has now joined the 'Good Old Boy Club' network by supporting U.S. Senator Obama.
No one can question the highly educated Rice and Powell. Society can surely question why Rice and Powell have been the token 'Black Americans'? The last time this happened was when Hittler had his token Jewish Architect design all the buildings for the Third Reicht in Germany. The saying, 'history repeats itself', has surely been proven again.
By the actions of Emperor Bush and his Dick, they bushwacked our U.S. Congress and the American Citizens and went directly to Park Avenue. They bought up all the Hotels on their private 'Monoply Board' of the 1% Far Right Rich for the Greed for Oil game they have played, not just against American Citizens but against the Citizens of Iraq.
Michael Moore is not White? This is the reply Michael Moore gave on the Larry King Show on CNN this past Wednesday night. After watching and hearing an interview U.S. Senator Clinton gave on the Bill O'Reilly Fox Propaganda TV Channel. Or should I say the Far Right Propaganda TV News Channel? At least U.S. Senator Clinton was able to reach out to those who have been brainwashed by watching such a News Media that produces the fascist propaganda for Emperor Bush 24/7 for the past 8 years. How people can be so hoodwinked is hard to grasp. Then 'Tokyo Rose' did a good job during WWII. When a tape of the Bill O'Reilly show with U.S. Senator Clinton was shown on Larry King Live on CNN, the segment was showing U.S. Senator Clinton stating she would of left the church Rev. Wright was paster of for his 'Hate Remarks' he has professed for years. When Larry King asked Michael Moore about U.S. Senator Clinton's remarks, Michael Moore replied, "I'am White".
To not leave the total blame on Fox Cartoon News and the Bill O'Reilly Variety Show, we can not leave out CNN or any of the 'Corporate 5' Media Owned. CNN just comes off as harsh on broadcasting the propaganda for the far right fascist agenda. They were all imbedded in the 'Unjust War' in the Mid East as they have all had their 'Retired General's scripted by the Pentagon as what their message was to be 24/7. They got paid for doing this by the 'Corporate 5' for their expert Pentagon opinions. If this has not been a train wreak I do not know what has been.
There was a time we were able to get the real news. Under the Fascist Dictatorship of Emperor Bush and his Dick, the reporting of real news has not been allowed by the 'Media 5'. They like to throw out sayings like, "your not a patriot", "your not an American", "you support the troops but not the war". All the click words to deny Freedom of Speech.
There is the one network you can hear the real truth and that is FreeSpeech TV that broadcast 24/7. They are the oldest Independent News Channel that is now 12 years old. The news program, 'Democracy Now' with Amy Goodman speaks volumns daily in real news reporting. You hear the real facts on FreeSpeech TV Network the 'Corporate 5' never would broadcast. No 'Corporate 5' media own FreeSpeech TV.
Reporting the real news would take away from the propaganda machine they are all a part of at 'Corporate 5' Media Owned. They have their agenda and stock holders who depend on profits to make in huge amounts for a good return on the dollar or is it a good return on propaganda? News only comes second to having an entertainment element that comes first and anchors who look pretty and can read a teleprompter. As for having a 'Degree in Journalism' it would appear, one does not need to apply to work for the 'Corporate 5' media.
The only citizens in America who are 'White' are the 'American Indians'. I did not know Michael Moore is now an American Indian. Watching the Larry King Show on CNN one learns new facts on race ancestory by Michael Moore?
It is time to wake up and smell the coffee Mr. Moore and see the damage you are doing by supporting the 'Good Old Boy Club' network. This is what happens to people who become very wealthy with a national forum and have lost focus from their beginnings.
My support as the majority of America will be backing U.S. Senator Hillary Clinton as or next President of the United States of America. This will be the 1st election in the past 8 years that every vote is going to be counted. I am looking forward to watching, 'Democracy ruled as a Repubic', to have it's process go foward. I am sure every woman in America is also looking forward to having their vote counted. I would hope Mr. Moore knows that women got the right to vote. Yes as many have wondered, American Citizens who are women can vote and not be breaking any laws as they were kept from voting until the last century. Of course I am sure as I would think Michael Moore would agree on this point. Or do you think he would like it to return to the days of when women did not have the right to vote or run any 'Business' or be a 'C.E.O.' of a 'Business in America', or be a 'Mayor', 'Governor', Congressperson' or even 'President'?
The more Michael Moore speaks the more we learn who the real Michael Moore really is. It is like reading a really great non-fiction book until you get to the end. You discover the one who was fighting for the rights of all the people turned out to be a 'Rich Sexist Pig' in 'Sheep's Clothing.'
