Attributing out-of-context statements to make your opponent look bad is a very ancient method to discredit political opponents, dating way back before Roman and Greek times.

I still can’t figure out what all this has to do with a political campaign. The Democrats are allowing this to go on and on and on. I say let them punch it out. We have 3 viable candidates, Hillary, Oback and what’s his name. Hold it in Vegas and make it pay per view. Use the money to pay back the loan for the war. Better yet -- why pay them all back anyway? Don’t they all owe us from the loans after WWII? With interest that’s a pretty penny. The only reason this whole thing bis an issue is to smoke the air.
