HUGE Superdelegate Endorsement Saves Barack Obama

POSTED BY: CubbyChaser

img-barackobama29.jpgWith the Obama campaign sinking under the weight of its association with the wrong type of black people, the good cheerleaders at DailyKos report that the struggling senator picked up the biggest superdelegate endorsement of 'em all today. He's an ex-party bigwig who started out as a young Democratic star loyal to the Clintons but has since drifted far to the left. That's right, former
DNC chair Joe Andrew
.

We don’t care about the size of your bank account, just the size of your heart; and we don’t care where you are today, just where you dream you want to be tomorrow. That is your Democratic Party. That is Barack Obama's Democratic Party.

Wow. Guess we can expect Obama to start enjoying that fomer DNC chair Joe Andrew bump any day now:

I ask Hoosiers to come together and vote for Barack Obama to be our next President. In an accident of timing, Indiana has been given the opportunity to truly make a difference. Hoosiers should grab that power and do what in their heart they know is right. They should reject the old negative politics and vote for true change. Don't settle for the tried and true and the simplistic slogans, but listen to your heart and dare to be inspired. Only a cynic would be critical of Barack Obama inspiring millions. Only the uninformed could forget that the candidate that wins in November is always the candidate that inspires millions.

Oh, yeah, he's from Indiana! This'll give Obama a huge boost. Remember how well he did in Massachusetts after Ted Kennedy and John Kerry endorsed him? Those guys are former DNC chair Joe Andew-esque, for sure, but nothing like the real deal.

  1. The association of the wrong type of black people, are you stupid. These are his people. Obama and his church are racist Marxists. Barack said he has attended this church for over twenty years and that Reverend Wreight was his spiritual mentor. Where do you think he learned to give such speeches? After twenty years of listening to ridiculous sermons of hate and blame towards white people and the United States of America, the senator denies ever hearing such comments. Obama is either a lier, stupid, or both. In any case, he is unfit to be president. This is not character assassination, but the truth behind a man so many people are in denial about. John Stewart tries so hard to save his buddy, his show isn't even funny anymore. Hey John, have you thought about what your going to say when McCain wins.

  2. O'Reilly is that you?

  3. Common S – We all know what we'd say if McCain wins. It's McCain who will have difficulty remembering what it was he wanted to say if he wins.

  4. Common Sense (if that IS your real name) — off your meds again? Breathe. C'mon . . . in, out, in, out . . . slowly; relax, c'mon buddy, you can do it.

Now, think. (Come on, you can do that, too . . .) People spew anger, rant, and rave when convinced they are the targets of hate and injustice — you know, sort of like you're doing now, in a freakin' anonymous BLOG for goodness sake. How might you, yourself, react if I told you that after he was finished bangin' her because she was getting a little too old, my grandfather sold your grandmother to one of the neighboring farmboys who needed somebody to shovel crap out of the privies because that isn't white folks' work?

Jeremiah Wright spent 6 years as a Marine and Navy Corpsman, and wasn't allowed to drink from the same water fountain as a loser like you. I guess he's still a little PO'd.

It is absolutely wrong for anybody — and that includes black folks AND Reverend Wright — to belittle and degrade people based on race. He's wrong. But his behavior is REACTIVE . . . just like your comment, you knucklehead . . . not the action of a man, or group of people (you know, like slavetraders) who proactively, without provocation, trapped, bound, kidnapped, and routinely raped and killed an entire race of people.

SO, just like a responsible adult understanding the emotional reactions of a child who hasn't quite yet matured to self-confidence and still worries, without even knowing why, about his future, you and I, my fearful friend, have to exhibit some compassion and self-control in our response to the Jeremiah Wrights of the world.

And, by the way, learn to spell.

  5. Hey Naponic, are you talking about slavery? Who do you now that has a grand parent who was a slave. Live in the now. You know who else spent 6 years in the military? Timmothy McVeigh did, and then he went on to be the Oklahoma Bomber. You know nothing of Wright and his church. A white person would not even be able to sit down in his church. If you want to live in the past and talk about slave traiders, you should know black people not only sold other black people into slavery, but some even owned slaves. You think I am angry? No, I am sad for what an ignorant person you are; trying to justify the rants and beliefs of a racist.

by Common Sense May 2nd at 10:06PM
  6. Common Sense: You’d be shocked at what I know.

If I was trying to justify the rants and beliefs of a racist, I would be agreeing with you. Maybe that’s why you’re afraid to sit down in a black church.

And you still need to learn to spell.

by Naponic May 3rd at 6:13PM
  7. Hey Naponic, are you retarded? You were trying to justify the rants of Wright ( A Big Racist ), and then you got told. Face it, you are wrong and when faced with the truth ( facts you don't like ), you make jokes. Just as John Stewart would and both of you, equally not funny. You got served.

by Common Sense May 3rd at 6:25PM
  8. Common Sense: You think I’m not as funny as Jon Stewart isn’t?

Puts me in pretty good company. Thanks.

And you STILL need to learn to spell.

  9. The America is not in a pretty place right now, and YOU don't like it. Yes, I am talking to YOU. Change has to happen. And this election can not come at a better time to find out if YOU are ready for change.

No change would be a Republican. That means you can not sit at home and whine and moan about the Economy or the Military decisions that are being made right now. Are you truly happy with your life right now? No one to blame but yourself for anything that is unsatisfactory in your life? You are OK with the fact that the guy at work is about to foreclose on his house. And that the cousin that you use to play with is being shipped home in a box.

"But we need my cousin over there to fight the war on terror!", you say.

Stop making the young children of America fight this for you and let the Elected Officials do something about it. And I mean actually do something, not delegate. They want to really, otherwise they wouldn't be fighting so hard to get elected. That person that you are voting for should be the person doing all the hard work.

And a good shake up could be a Democrat. IF he/she is willing to work for you the way an Elected Official is suppose to!

Go ask them if they are willing to do this for you to find out who your choice should be.

  10. Okay that volley between Naponic and Common Sense is really funny…Or as Common Sense would put it: Raley Furnny. Common Sense has a total crush on Jon Stewart! It's a 3rd grade – kick him in the shins and pull his hair kind of crush, but Common Sense totally wants to Take Jon Stewart to the Ice cream social.
