Barack Obama Selling Israel Out to the Terrorists Watch: Day 1207

POSTED BY: CubbyChaser

On the eve of Israel's 60th anniversary, it's no small wonder that Terrorist Party nominee Barack Obama (TP – Explodistan) is shooting his mouth off pledging to negotiate with hostile leaders like Iran's Mahmoud Ahmadinejad when he's president. Which is why President Bush ambled into the Knesset today to answer the one question on everyone's mind: where have we heard this foolish diversion before?

"We have heard this foolish delusion before," Bush said in remarks to the Israeli Knesset. "As Nazi tanks crossed into Poland in 1939, an American Senator declared: 'Lord, if only I could have talked to Hitler, all of this might have been avoided.' We have an obligation to call this what it is — the false comfort of appeasement, which has been repeatedly discredited by history."

Hm. While I agree President Barack Hitler Obama couldn't be trusted to defend Poland, there are some geeks who would argue that by invoking Hitler means the Republicans are effectively forfeiting this otherwise bulletproof argument. So, surely John McCain will straight-talk things back down to earth.

"Yes, there have been appeasers in the past, and the president is exactly right, and one of them is Neville Chamberlain," Mr. McCain told reporters on his campaign bus after a speech in Columbus, Ohio. "I believe that it's not an accident that our hostages came home from Iran when President Reagan was president of the United States. He didn't sit down in a negotiation with the religious extremists in Iran, he made it very clear that those hostages were coming home."

Not quite the cool down I was looking for, I guess, but fair point all around. They didn't call Reagan Ol' Never Negotiate with Iran for nothing.

  1. Doesn't Barack realize that he is a terrorist "manchurian candidate" brainwashed as a child in that madrassa? No wonder he hates Israel!

Why oh why is america about to elect a muslim terrorist president? Has Bush driven us all insane?

  3. Yeah, Reagan the Magnificent, the savior of the Repugnants. Just evoke his name and the world will be sane again. McSame needs to keep Lieberman with him at all times & the Decider should have duct tape placed over his mouth until the end of January 2009. Maybe the two of them could do a vaudeville show together. They could perform magic tricks. At this point, magic is the only way they could possibly save their partee! Words & speeches are definitely not their forte'

  4. JFK said you should never negotiate out of fear but never fear to negotiate. Or something to that effect. I wonder if that doctrine only applies when there are rational parties negotiating. Then, it was The Commies and US. Mutual destruction was a rational means of negotiation. Me thinks the cliche is different in the sand-lot of the Mid-East. Especially Iran.

What is the answer? Honestly? This situation is so fucked up (blame whomever, like, Bush) no one knows the answer. Them Islamic Fundies are fucking irrational. Now what. They think they're gonna get laid by whores. Lots and lots of whores. As sure as I think I'm typmg this right now or you are reading this, they think they're gonna get laid and go Paradise. Sorry, the Ruskies were wrong, but they played chess and shit. How do you negotiate with an irrational, insane, person? Imagine a conversation with Cybil.

What we do know is Bush and McCain are jaggoffs because of what, when, and where the remarks were made. McCain appeases Bush when he sucks his soft balls.

  5. We all know this, right? Reagan's hatchet man, GHW Bush, arranged to provide the Iranians with weapons and spare aircraft parts in exchange for keeping the Americans hostage until after the 1980 election. To the horror of the Reagan team, the hostages were released not after he won the election, but at the exact moment of his inauguration. The Iranians would not risk releasing the hostages before the inauguration, assuming both Reagan and Bush would be executed immediately if the plan were discovered.

  6. I cannot believe the hyocracy Bush displays. His own grandfather was punished for supplying Hitler and the nazis with part of the funding for their war machine…provne and documented. Union Bank. Stop all this madness!

  7. The Hawkish Counterargument: What if McCain is right? I support Obama, howerver, I like the McCain/Beach Boys satirical diddy, "Bomb Iran." There is something to be said for obliterating that fucking country. Truth is, if they could hit us, they would. Now.

Bush shoved our collective cocks into the hornet's nest known as the Mid-East. Mistake. The myth of "pulling out" still leads to pregnancies. Maybe time for a nuclear wire hangar. Obama, I believe, espouses a theory of mutually asuured destruction if Iran contiunes to screw with Israel. Plus, Israel might wack them before we do if those fucking missiles keep on flying into peoples homes and strategic sties like the other day. I mean, what would you want our country to do if you constantly have to worry about some missle flying through your window while making love to your wife. Empathy? No. Sympathy. How did we feel on 9/11. Fuck these pricks.

Israel has launch capabilities from land, air, and sea. Those large tubular shaped objects Israel has are not corn facilities. In less than six days, Israel can fix the whole damn thing. We are in the middle of WWIV I believe. WWI, WWII, WWIII (the cold war); WWIV (started on 9/11).

But, then, you need to worry about Russia and China hitting us amongst a host of other problems. For those who think this is an easy question to answer (after subtracting out the inane "Hitler" reference) I posit it is not. Not claiming to know the right answer. I only know we don't know, and that's scary.

A happy medium might be a mob style hit (except this time let it work unlike the one we tried on Castro) on Achphooeymenajad. Francis Ford hasn't made a good flick for a while. Let him be Secretary of Defense. Bring in Kurtz, Michael, Luca Brassi, and all will be fine.

Or, give them the hippie flowers from the 60's flood the radio waves of Iran with Grateful Dead music. Or Brittany Spears. Then they might do themselves in.

    I gotta take a shit.
    Later.

End game? No way out? That might be the situation. Soon, Damien will lead the country. Laura got Bush to read his first book years ago. Guess what it was. Camus' The Stranger. Great. First thiing he reads is a short novel on why nothing matters. Of course, Bush pronounced his name Camoooooooooz. The domino's are falling, and I don't think there is a way to stop them. If true, might as well wipe Iran of the face of the planet.

  8. Why not bomb Iran? Who’s military are you going to use? The US military barely has enough personnel to fight in Afghanistan, Iraq, and keep up with the rest of this country’s security needs around the globe. If the US is going to open up another front on the “War on Terror” a Draft will have to be enacted.

by bearness May 16th at 4:25PM
  9. HAWKISH COUNTERPOINT- ONE NATION. ONE BUTTON. JOHN McCain 08.

The Supreme Court can go back to a pre Brown v. Board mentality wth at least two justices who might be on the outs. The troops won't be around for the mushroom cloud, so there's the exit strategy. Legalize weed to fix the economy. Sell the country some good shit to ease them into a mandatory draft so we don't have to concern ourserlves with pussies who enjoy taking a hammer to their knee.

    *Of course I'm serious.

  10. BEARNESS – Weren't you into the Deathmatch fix the economy PPV? Thanks for your post to defeat the inane argument I made below. ARE THISE GOP ASS CLOWNS EVER GONNA GET IT? Everybody has to chill. The Elephant will go belly up if we stick together. McCain gives them their best chance. No matter what. If Dems come out in droves they should go down. Unless, our country is retarded. 2000, 2004, 2006 (tide turns), 2008? Hell, by this time, if we don't get it right, we never will. Leading to the possibility of not a "red phone moment," but a "red button moment."
