Laura Bush Passes Along First Lady Advice to Michelle Obama
In a recent interview, First Lady Laura Bush said she "admired Hillary's grit and strength" and offered some words of advice for Michelle Obama…
Responding to Michelle Obama's recent remarks that "for the first time in my adult life, I'm proud of my country", Mrs. Bush said "I think she probably meant 'I'm more proud'" but cautioned "you have to be very careful in what you say" on the campaign trail.
"That's one of the things you learn and that's one of the really difficult parts both of running for president and for being the spouse of the president and that is everything you say is looked and in many cases misconstrued."
An intelligent and accomplished person like Michelle Obama can truly learn a lot from a top notch First Lady like Laura Bush. She should listen well.
For example, the best thing for a campaigning First Lady to do is remember to smile, stand encouragingly at your husband's side, nod your head from side to side, and applaud from time to time — but only when you see other people applauding!
Oh, and blink! Make you sure you blink your eyes every twenty or so seconds. Otherwise people get freaked out.
You don't wanna end up looking like Cindy McCain, right?

This coming from a woman who repeatedly referred to it as "Burma". I wonder if she ever shares her advice with Dub? She has great eyebrows, though. Very presidential spouse-like. Michelle, I hope you're paying attention.
