Barack Obama is Just a Wee Bit Too White, in Ralph Nader's Opinion
Lest we forget, independent Ralph Nader is still running for president, and now he's planning to make appearances in Denver during the Democratic National Convention in August.
The Democrats are understandably thrilled at the prospect of having such a legendary political figure in their midst, and Nader is keeping the goodwill alive by lashing out at Barack Obama in the Colorado press…
Independent presidential candidate Ralph Nader accused Sen. Barack Obama, the presumed Democratic Party nominee, of downplaying poverty issues, trying to "talk white" and appealing to "white guilt" during his run for the White House…
The Obama campaign had only a brief response, calling the remarks disappointing.
"Disappointing"?
Yep. Sounds like whitey to me.

Why can't those Black Politicians know their place ?
How the heck do you send an e-mail to the Daily Show or the Colbert Report?
Anyhow, here is one of the 284 comments responding to the Nader story on CNN.com's Political Ticker:

Obama has not been rich all his life so he understand the inner city problems probably better than anyone who has ever ran for President. I think too say he is talking white is just a silly thing too say. How do you speak white or how do you speak black. There are two ways too speak. One is with correct grammar and the other is uncorrect grammar.
Ya gotta love Nader. The paradoxical utilitarian.
Sorry, I can't understand the above. Could someone translate it to White for me?
Nader's courage and blunt honesty is why he'll get my vote this year.
talking about race is political suicide.
and he dives right in.
i like my politicians with spines thank you.
maybe if more of them had spines like Ralph, the democratic majority wouldn't pass telecom immunity, or keep re-funding the iraq occupation.
