Now Everyone Can Be Ron Paul
So, somebody out there made this pretty cool web toy in which you enter your friends' names, and then it spits out a moderately convincing news clip about that friend's dark horse runaway presidential campaign that I suppose is aimed at fooling incredibly gullible people. It's actually kind of fun.
I found this via a post by Matt Tobey over at the CC Insider. And Matt — being the impeccably staid, upright, not at all childish blogger that he is — used it to create this video which is so very emblematic of why Comedy Central blogs get so much respect…
Ha ha ha! How utterly not third-grade! Kudos to you, Mr. Tobey for creating an internet sensation for the modern thinking man.
I was so impressed with this video, that I was moved to make my own fumbling attempt at great art…

That's some pretty funny stuff. You're a bit mistaken though if you believe that the majority of people who voted for Ron Paul in the primaries did so only because we thought he would win. Sadly, you guys missed the point. This whole movement is about ending the war and the military industrial complex that has led to every conflict since Korea.
You guys have still got it.
