We know that November 3, 2009 isn't a real Election Day. But still, we can all pretend. Right? Take a look at these six elections and let us know how much you care.

Yet Another!!! Sad Desperate Bitter Ad From John McCain

POSTED BY: CubbyChaser

And this one stars Britney Spears and Paris Hilton…

Oh, didn't you hear? It's 2003.

Anyway, I gotta open a window and let some of the deperation out of here.

Seriously, what is wrong with the McCain campaign when their strongest line of attacking Barack Obama is pointing how much everybody else in the world seems to love him. There's something off-puttingly freaks and Geeks about that.

Update: John McCain's old strategist John Weaver weighs in on McCain's brilliant new attack ad against himself…

"John's been a celebrity ever since he was shot down," Weaver said. "Whatever that means. And I recall Ronald Reagan and George H. W. Bush going overseas and all those waving American flags… For McCain to win in such troubled times, he needs to begin telling the American people how he intends to lead us. That McCain exists. He can inspire the country to greatness…

"There is legitimate mockery of a political campaign now, and it isn't at Obama's. For McCain's sake, this tomfoolery needs to stop."

I, for one, hope the tomfoolery doesn't stop. I'd hate to have to go back to writing my own jokes.

  1. Do you think Bob Dole advised McCain on this one, or is there just some law of the universe that requires all old Republicans to love Britney?

  2. …did they just compare Obama to Britney Spears and Paris Hilton?? To two white women?? Wow… at least make the bad celebrities be bad MALE celebrities.

  3. With the sound off, that ad is incredibly flattering to Obama :roflmao:

  4. The more I think about this ad, the more I think if Obama were to get out of a limousine wearing a sarong and flashing a shaved johnson, I’m not sure it would hurt his chances at becoming the next President.

  5. What is the Big O's plan.

He needs to be forthright and spell it out. Everything he has in mind for change. What changes Obama? Just tell us and it would be a lot easier to get behind you as a candidate. It is a complex equation with no completely right answer, but tell us how you plan to start.
Say what you mean and mean what you say.
America will follow if you light the path you intend for us to tread.

  6. Obama doesn't seem to have any real plans but to talk about change. That sounds great, but you have to have a plan of how you're going to change things. Change can be fo the better or for the worse.

  7. Obama doesn't seem to have any real plan except talking about change. That sounds great but you have to have a plan of how you will change things. Plus change can be for the better or for the worse.

  8. The ad about McCain stars Elizabeth Taylor (now) & a couple of people standing at a bus stop.

  9. You can sure tell that the Rove boys are back in town.

  10. What does this ad have to do with anything? So, he's saying Obama is popular and then says that his policy will raise taxes. But what does higher taxes have to do with foreign oil?
