Joe Biden Strikes Out at Barack Obama From Twenty Years in the Past
If Barack Obama does end up choosing Joe Biden as his VP, I'll bet he's hoping the McCain people never find this advertisement from Biden's 1988 run for president…
"The White House isn't the place to learn how to deal with international crisis, the balance of power, war and peace, and the economic future of the next generation. A President has got to know the territory, but that's not enough."
But I doubt they'll ever find it.

For fans of irony, MP3s from the old commercial are up here: http://www.entertonement.com/collections/2282/Joe-Biden-1988-Campaign-Ad
20 years ago, wasn't Biden younger than Obama is now? Back then, 47 was seen as old. In our current culture of age-denial, it's barely past puberty.
i dunno… that ad sounds kind of hope-tastic to me. Besides, weren't those jabs about foreign policy experience likely aimed at George H.W. Bush as well? That his experience isn't enough to qualify him, he has to have vision… I think that works against McCain, actually.
I heard Biden stole that narration from Rove and his posse.
I really hope Biden is our next VP. I've been wanting that since he was in the running for President (because it was fairly obvious early on that he wasn't going to get that position).
