On a glorious December 16th of 1675, allied American colonial troops attacked the insurgent forces of the Native American Narragansett tribe in southern Rhode Island, killing thousands of women and children and collecting any survivors to be sent into slavery.
Today, the town of he town of Narragansett, Rhode Island honors the once proud massacred people.
