Well Janet, for someone who is quite educated you sure are a little too high strung about the profession of journalism or just bitter... I'm sure Charlize understands the depths there are to being a reporter, may it be a sports reporter on the local field or a "journalist" entrenched with the boys at war. Frankly I thought she had a decent interview and wasn't mocking the whole field... So have a couple of night caps, hit the sheets, and in the morning you won't remember getting all worked up over what some hot actress said.

Re: Charlize Theron's attack on the Press on the Jon Stewart show :

Would someone please tell Charlize Theron that when she exoriates the "press" for not handling important stories she undermines the work of very serious journalists who actually do investigate and report stories (often at great risk to themselves) whose work not only inform the films that she and her boyfriend direct and perform in but provide readers with insight about how critical decisions are made at life's many levels. Just as there are good actors in film and television, there are many different levels of reporting within the field of journalism. To condemn all of the Press (when she is actually talking about entertainment journalism) with one mighty cliche is disingenuous and self-indulgent.
