Election Day

We know that November 3, 2009 isn't a real Election Day. But still, we can all pretend. Right? Take a look at these six elections and let us know how much you care.

Join Me As I Read Over John McCain and Barack Obama's Shoulders, Kind Of

POSTED BY: Mary Phillips-Sandy

Wouldn't it be neat if John McCain and Barack Obama were really sharing their own personal Google Readers* for everyone to see? Yes, but this is politics, and actual neat things are forbidden under party regulations. Instead the "Obama and McCain campaigns" (that is, a couple of interns who haven't seen fresh produce in days) have crafted on-message Google Readers to share with the world (while staying on message).

Let's take a look. Here is John McCain's list: BBQ, Fox News, the Navy, his daughter's blog, no real estate listings whatsoever. Nice work, McCain intern, you get an extra energy drink tonight.

Moving over to the Obama camp, let's see… oops! The Obama intern put Barry's own blog on the list. Bad move, Obama intern! Only self-centered elitist celebrities publicly bookmark their own blogs, and that is not the message you are supposed to be on. For shame. You get docked three energy drinks.

Oh, but you did also put The Daily Show on "Barack's" list.

Okay, I take back the "for shame" bit. And you can have the Red Bull back if you add a few more links to Comedy Central's other new media properties, all of which are worth clicking on, repeatedly, throughout the course of every day.

*At this point I think we can just infer the jokes about John McCain and computers, right?

  1. You might enjoy this funny post about my friend's experience with the Red Bull energy drink — a truly refreshing review that is not flattering to the product. I seriously doubt if it has any vitamin B in it, which is your standard definition of a true energy drink. http://www.circleoffood.com/blog/2008/08/22/red-bullsht/

  3. Barack Obama the Roman Elitis
Barack Elitis image is still lingering hard because barack Obama is an Elitis, First He feel like he don't have to answering any Issues what so ever the Obama camp, Say's if you don't vote for Obama Than your not a Democrat, or most Obama supporter just down right call you a Racist for not voting for him,,, than Obama had to Make that Barack Obama SEAL,, that he stole from the Presidential SEAL,, but NO the Obama camp, Still say's he not and Elitis,

Now at the Democratic Convention they are re-fitting the stage and adding a Roman Theme to it, Like he is
Julius Caesar controlling Rome or even worst,,He think He is the 2nd Coming of
Jesus Christ,, the new Democratic Savior, he Eagle is riding so his and He is so full of him self,, and Of Course Keith Oberman buy right into this and believe it including the rest of Msnbc and CNN
