Stephen Colbert Takes Offense to Michelle Obama's Speech

POSTED BY: TheInDecider

When you replace words with other words from Michelle Obama's speech on Monday night, it's pretty offensive.

Do you think Michelle Obama's speech helped her husband?

  1. Both Stephen AND Jon Stewart are sick ……… hmmmm ……. do Serenity & Harmony have any ideas ????

  2. loved michelles speech. She is not like other "wives". She has the spunk and back ground of a hard working person- and yes that helps the democratic campaign. Go dems. get some balls.. and here here to Colbert as press sec.

  3. It seems to me like almost anytime someone in politics starts talking about their life, they seem to say things that give this impression: "I'm in a good place now but before this I was muck in the bottom of the barrel just like you." I'm not sure but I would think that this is probably not the best way to get voters. Its amazing how widespread this tactic is.

  4. How can a presidential candidate's wife hurt or help? She acted like Jackie, Nancy, Pat, Roslyn, etc. She's up there for show and if she tries to get serious she'll get creamed just like Hilary. The lesson of this year is, politics is for men, stay out of our way. Ho Hum. I can't imagine what they were thinking putting her up there. We all know he's an autocratic prig.

  5. Pull all the Obamas.

Colbert RULES! I LOVE that man!
BTW, what REALLY happened to his voice while he was off last week???

  6. Did Barack's wife help his cause with her speech? I didn't really see the whole thing but I heard parts of it. It was just another bunch of cliche's and buzzwords put together to woo the public. I'd say that yes, it helped more than anything else. I heard people at work saying how much they thought it was time for a change. At first, I thought Obama was without a doubt the best choice for me. But now that I see him playing the same tired old cards that we've seen everyone play, I can't be as sure. I believe he is, however, the best choice available. He's lucky Colbert isn't really running. Cuz I'd totally vote for him just because it would be the most interesting four years of my life. God, please send a comet to smash this boring ass world to bits as soon as possible.

  7. I love Stephen, and I love the Obamas, and Colbert Nation Lives in my Heart.

I hearby state, in no uncertain terms, Colbert for Secretary of HUD or, Press Secratary!! or, possibly the curator of the National Archives.

Bush is a Joke, someone should hit him with pie.
