Despite the inevitable haggling over her foreign policy credentials and her readiness to be president, there's one thing about Sarah Palin that Republicans and Democrats can definitely agree on:

I mean sure, she faced down her own party's corrupt establishment by enforcing the most sweeping ethics reform in Alaskan history while raising a family of five that includes a Down's Syndrome-afflicted infant son, but get a load of them gubernatorial knockers, eh boys?
And thank God for 'em. Without that purty smile and them big ol' titties, she'd be just another VPIMNAWOTIBALRFTCSPTISDATHBSI — vice president I may not agree with on the issues, but at least respect for the character she possesses, the intellect she demonstrates and the human being she is.

And another thing: I am sick and tired of people who disagree with me spitting "Commie!" out of their noise holes simply because I disagree with them. For those of you who cannot understand that the framers of the Constitution meant for Americans to disagree in a civil way, I say the porous border is that-a-way and I wish you would take care to not let the swinging door hit you in the fanny on the way out.
The one thing that the President has complete control over, is our military, as the commander and chief. Ask yourself who you would want at the reigns of that post. I'm not a democrat, or republican, I'm just a guy who thinks judgement, and temperment, are at least as important as experience.
I'm not completely conviced Obama is my saviour, nor that he is the anti-Christ, I just think that his judgement might be better than an ex military lifer who had been through a horrible prisoner of war experience, and could possibly have feelings that conflict with logic, and that of a first time, bear hunting, woman republican, who might just be looking to show how strong women can be, and forgetting logic.
I love being able to own guns, I love hunting, and target shooting…and I don't necessarily think I will loose all those privileges with Obama, but we might just gain some original thinking in the white house.

Just so that you (and others) know, Eric, Sara Palin's son Trig is not "afflicted" with Down Syndrome. He was born with an extra 21st chromosome which merely means that he "has" down syndrome. DS is not an affliction, it is mearly a fact of Trig's genetic make up – just like the color of your eyes is a fact of yours and mine.
