I made the mistake of watching The Republican Convention last night,
it was a HUGE mistake, Rudy was at his height of repugnance, (which for him isn't hard. I wanted to throw a brick through my TV. All in all a low point for the nation
and bringing the baby out and shifting it between the daughter and Cindy, they are a real class act. Rudy reminded me of the jock bully in high school that everybody hates but keeps quiet for fear of getting an ass kicking.

Was anyone bothered by Rudy's "cosmopolitan" comments? As a fairly well read guy, he must know "Cosmopolite" was the Stalinist/Russian code word for Jews, and during certain periods became a call for official pogroms. Was he sneaking another racist comment in, like Congressman Westmoreland's "uppity" comment..
