The Colbert Report: Joe Lieberman Is Two-Faced
Joe Lieberman endorsed John McCain on Tuesday night, and had some tough words for Barack Obama. Unfortunately, his speech from two years ago surfaced:
In 2006, Lieberman needed Obama's help to get reelected. Should we trust his endorsement of McCain this year?

I understand that Governor Palin is a member of the fundamentalist Assemblies of God church. Isn't that the same Church that brought us Tammy Fay and Jimmy Bakker, Marvin Gorman and Jimmy Swaggert? Don't they believe that all who do not accept Jesus Christ as their Savior will go to a place worse than Abu ghraib or Guantanamo – called Hell? Doesn't that include Jews? Has Joe Lieberman carefully thought through his endorsement?

A person who professes to being a christian should not distort, exaggerate or outright lie about someone else, especially one who wants to be a leader. Sarah Palin disappoints. No way should she be second in command. In fact no way should McCain be first. Do people have such a short memory that they can forget the last 8 years, a wrongful war and skyrocketing deficits. Why we gave a $1,000,000,000 to the country of Georgia yesterday. Where did that come from?????
Doctor Sanja Gupta reports that Lieberman's "two face's" are not a rare phenomena, and develop when one needs to speak and kiss McCain ass simultaneously.
Wow…as Americans we should be ashamed of the debacle that is the McCain/Palin ticket. Having an "extreme right-wing, anti-choice, pretend fiscal conservative (her town of Wasilla had no debt before she was Mayor and was $22 million in debt after her tenure) pretend reformer (she was for the Bridge to Nowhere before she was against it), pro-creationist, lying, petty, under state investigation, 19 month governor of a state of under 700,000 people with no world view" as candidate for the vice presidency of the United States of America makes you proud to be an American?

This is what our county needs right now, ( sarah palin ). Watching her speech last nite, I was so proud to be a woman and an american, and very happy she is in our corner !!!
