Barack Obama Tries to Explain Away His Disgusting Past as a Civil Servant

POSTED BY: Dennis DiClaudio

Here's b-ball dad Barack Obama attempting to justify his appalling three years he spent after college as a community organizer…

Nice try, Obama. But if you were really serious about leading our country, maybe you should have considered doing something a little more important after college.

Like reporting on dog racing.

Now that's something that touches every person's life.

  1. Matt J!!!

  2. For one thing, Obama promises to create 5 million jobs in the alternative energy market. If you really want to know his policies on employment strategy, just go to his website.

  3. Go MattJ! But seriously, like he said, those are great questions and fortunately for people who care to know, the answers are all readily available in print and online. In fact, I've also found that if you email the campaign a question they are really quick about getting back to you. Hope that helps.

  4. Regarding the book comment…

Most politicians write books well in advance of a political race and I do believe Senator Obama wrote this looking towards one.. perhaps not the presidency. This is how politiciancs get funding to support their campaigns and avoid the donation cap. It's also how they expose the broader country and world to who they are.. candidly I'm expecting a book from Governor Palin any day now :)

Senator Obama's book is quite good.

Just clarifying that writing a book actually may mean he WAS thinking about a political race.

    Best Regards

  5. Sounds like Mr. DiClaudio is jealous of Obama. I was a community organizer in Gary, IN, just east of Chicago during the '60s, and I worked my behind off trying to help people, mostly single mothers, keep food on their tables and roofs over their heads. It was a 24/7 job for which I was paid $4600 a year. Has Mr. DiClaudio ever done that? Has he walked in my shoes or Obama's? Is it a qualification for being president? For me, yes because it means we would have a president who reaches to people and helps them better their lives. I see nothing of that in McCain or Palin. Like all republicans, they want to scare people and denigrate anyone who opposes them. So, Mr. DiClaudio speak of something you know or do what Mark Twain advised: keep your mouth shut to hide the fact your are an idiot.

  6. jessica, info regarding Obama's work is readily available. He's well educated and has worked hard for the people and made great changes in the community. Ms. Palin, in her short tenure as mayor left the town of wasilla, which was not in debt, millions of dollars in debt. Great job!!

  7. The community organizer job was for 8 Catholic parishes on the south side of Chicago. (It's all over the Catholic blog sites now) That and the voter drive led to him being written up as a young person to watch in Crain's Chicago Business. Obama & his campaign are actually being pretty modest about all this in my opinion.

  8. Actually, Jessica, those would be good questions if you couldn't easily find the answers yourself in countless mag. articles and books as well as online. Start your book larnin'!!!

  9. BOOKS REALLY OBAMA SEEMS TO HAVE BEEN VERY BUSY WRITING BOOK'S DENIGRATING WHITE PEOPLE "IN MY OPINION" AND TELLING WHITE PEOPLE THEY NEED TO CHANGE WHILE IN MY LIFETIME I HAVE SEEN A GREAT DEAL OF CHANGE TRYING TO UPLIFT THE CUMMUNITY THAT OBAMA IS FROM, I AM NOT SURE IT IS DOING ANY GOOD BUT PROMOTING UNMARRIED MOTHER'S ON WELFARE INCIDENTLY THESE BOOKS HAVE MANY VERY INTERESTING INROADS TO OBAMA'S THINKING AND I AM NOT SURE IT IS IN THE BEST INTEREST OF OUR GREAT COUNTRY NOT TO MENTION HIS SITTING IN A CHURCH FOR 20 YEARS AND NOT ACTUALLY HEARING WHAT THE FIREBRAND HE WAS LISTENING TO WAS SAYING!

  10. I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO SAY BECAUSE I AM COMPLETELY BEREFT OF THOUGHT BUT I DO GOT TALKING POINTS. GOD FORBID ACTUAL COMPREHENSION MIGHT OCCUR IN MY MIND, OH WARMONGERING LORD, I JUST HAVE TO KEEP SHOUTING IN MY MIND AND NOT SAY THE WORD NIGGER OUT LOUD.
