Sarah Palin's Undergraduate Odyssey
I really wanted to not write about Sarah Palin today, but my God I just can't help myself. The latest news is that Palin apparently had a somewhat non-traditional college experience. As in, she transferred schools six times…
1. Palin matriculates as a freshman at the University of Hawaii at Hilo. She drops out "after a few weeks because of the constant rain there."
2. Palin enrolls at Hawaii Pacific University, a private college in Honolulu, as a Business Administration major. She leaves after a semester.
3. Palin transfers to North Idaho College, a Coeur d'Alene community college. She completes two semesters as a General Studies Major.
4. Palin transfers to the University of Idaho as a sophomore, in the Journalism program
5. Palin transfers to to Matanuska-Susitna College in Alaska and completes one semesters.
6. Palin heads back to the University of Idaho for three more semesters and graduates with a degree in Journalism.
Now, a lot of Americans may be able to identify with Palin's undergraduate odyssey – but not her running mate, John McCain. McCain only attended one college, the United States Naval Academy. But maybe he should have considered transferring – ideally to a school where he wouldn't have finished #894 out of the 899 graduates in his class!

I have recently been looking for a job and I find it interesting that you have to have more education to be a librarian than you do to be President or VP of this country.
What's up with that…oh, I know, you have to have money, a certain pedigree and powerful friends that network you into the top spot.
Lucky for Palin, they needed to pull a female, evangelical rabbit out of the hat to get the women and christians back on board to vote republican.
At least they didn't pull the gay marriage thing out again like they did to put Bush back in office in 2004.
Oh, I wish the American public would wake up.
The whole college degree thing is pretty clear to me. She transfers six times in six years to some real academic powerhouses, I would love to see her transcripts. Everyone knows the old trick where those who are academically challenged transfer all around to pass the required classes for their degree. I mean what the hell is a Matanuska? I believe it is code for "if you have the money, we've got your grade." Face it, this woman, this ticket is no brain trust. On the other hand we have a Harvard Law Graduate. Oh go ahead and bash Harvard as a pompus uptight Ivy League pretense but admit it, you would and so would Sarah Palin, give your front teeth for a degree from Harvard. Don't lie. We are on to you people.
Face it deputydog, you have no brain, and your candidates stand for nothing except prolonging a war that we all agree was predicated on a lie and fear. You do not want a democrat in the White House because you are afraid your taxes will go up, you selfish child. I am sure that when you or a family member is sick, your health insurance covers a visit to the doctor. It is a sin that the wealthiest country in the world does not have universal health care. I already know the first words out of your mouth will be that I am a socialist or a communist or something else because I believe we all deserve equal opportunities, the opportunity to continued education beyond high school, if desired, should be for anyone, not only the rich. I don't propose giving it away, you must work part time, make passing grades and stay out of trouble and graduate on time. Imagine everyone who wants a better job getting a better job! Imagine the expanded tax base! We might not have to raise taxes on the most wealthy 2% of Americans to make ends meet. The war has us so tied beyond our means, the dollar is no longer king. The Euro is the preferred currency in International Circles. That my friends is darn sad. I believe the way I believe, I vote the way I vote because it is the RIGHT thing to do. You and your party will deny healthcare to the poor and working poor. I am a proud American greatful to share what I have with those less fortunate. I was raised from nothing. I earned every penny I have ever saved or spent. No one gave me anything. I have been blessed in so many wonderful ways. I thank God for my blessings and then ask myself what would my God think? No, you republicans do not have a monopoly on God. I am a proud faith based liberal. Go spout your fear based hate on the republican site. Republicans never offer us the Hope that comes with Change, only the Fear based lies that keep us stuck in the status quo where they can continue paying little or no taxes.
You wanna know something really scary? I'd rather have Moe, Larry, Curly, and Dick with their finger near the button than Palin.

Speaking of cheating, is it true that the bimbo charged the state for 312 days of per diem while staying at her own home? Is it true that her husband is on the state
payroll? Is it true that her husband and children charged the state of Alaska $43,000.00 for travel expenses? Is it true that after the bridge to now where was cancelled, she kept $223,000,000.00 and spent some of it on a road to the bridge that got cancelled?
