Lincoln Memorable

Since Glenn Beck's 8/28 Rally was such a huge success, does that mean he's now a greater man than Martin Luther King. Or just as great?

What Really Was Going on With John McCain's Background Screen?

If you're one of the 38.9 million people who forgot to turn your televisions off after the Giants-Redskins game on Thursday, then you probably found yourself captivated by the calming white noise that was John McCain's acceptance speech.

But, here's a little moment you might have missed. It seems to be some kind of glitch with the video projection behind McCain's head. I myself didn't catch it the first time around (although, I will admit that I was drifting in and out of sleep).

Pay very close attention to the screen at about 11 seconds in…

Funny. I feel like I should have noticed a thing like that.

  2. The video was great! I certainly am looking forward to 4 more years of disaster at the hands of one with sooo much "executive"
experience. As a matter of fact wasnt the chimp a gov before he was a presidient? What about Romney? Oh, he actually finished his term and "may" have accomplished a thing or 2 so he doesnt count.
This ticket is a ticket to disaster. What a couple of idiots, "my freinds"!

  4. One would think, methinks, that the McCain camp would remember what happened the last time the public had the benefit of a green screen…wouldn't one?

Sarah Palin claimed executive privilege this past June. Why do people keep publishing more reasons for Republicans to LOVE this woman???

"But more intriguing than any email correspondence contained in the four boxes was what was not released: about 1100 emails. Palin's office provided McLeod with a 78-page list (PDF) cataloging the emails it was withholding. Many of them had been written by Palin or sent to her. Palin's office claimed most of the undisclosed emails were exempt from release because they were covered by the "executive" or "deliberative process" privileges…"

  10. LOL, funny., McCain should of jumped into the worm hole that was on the green screen. then Palin would be left as the nominee.

Despite all of this, and her lack of experiance she would probably make a much better president then McCain., Because like Obama she hasnt been corrupted by washington yet. We should probably reverse the ticket Palin/McCain.
