Election Day

We know that November 3, 2009 isn't a real Election Day. But still, we can all pretend. Right? Take a look at these six elections and let us know how much you care.

Former President Bill Clinton to Appear on The Daily Show Tuesday

POSTED BY: Eric March

…to discuss the Clinton Global Initiative, a sharp pivot from his 2006 interview with Jon Stewart, where he discussed the Clinton Global Initiative.

  1. President Clinton, why do you try so hard to please everyone? For example when asked if you had ever smoked weed, you said you tried it once and you didn't like it and that you never did it again. Presumably you said that to get total weed heads like myself to feel that you, a potential president, were kind of cool because you once tried weed. On the other hand you probably also wanted anti-weed people, such as my parents, to feel that you were very responsible and possessed morals. Why not just give a direct answer and live with the fact that some people will just simpply disagree with you?

  2. Ask Bill why he thinks Jon took Monday off even though he won an Emmy!! :)

  3. Didn't a lot of the "bi-partisan" legislation you passed with Republican support mark the beginning of the deregulation of investment firms and banks that the Bush administration then expanded to lead to the current economic crisis?

Also, do you regret the deregulation of media companies that now allows a few conservative corporations to own nearly all the media outlets available to the American public?

  4. Please ask President Clinton the same question you asked other high ranking democrats: "Is Barrack Obama the Real Deal?"

by Magdalen September 22nd at 11:13PM
  5. Congrats on the Emmy ,Jon. Now get back to work! I have resorted to watching those "real" news channels for God's sake!!! I can't take too much more of this crap!

  6. I'd like Clinton to address how he feels the 'Bradley Effect' will influence the outcome of this election. After he did so much to bridge race relations in his administration, does he feel this is still a factor in today's politics? Will Obama be able to overcome this is his bid for the Presidency?

  7. First I can't spell. Now I'm omitting words. I think I need new glasses.

You can't begrudge McCain and Lieberman their close friendship of several years. Over the years, McCain has made several significant friendships in the Senate and Congress. I think Senator Biden is finding it somewhat difficult to be a vp candidate in this regard. These two don't really want to hack each other apart. Before this campaign, I never knew anything about Joe Biden's wife Jill. What an angel. But in any case, I think we'd be surprised at the amount of support and cooperation McCain could get in Washington in his efforts to enact good reforms in government.

  8. where did you and hillary go? you were a big ticket at the convention, but then you went back to…what are you doing exactly? let's do this already! the era of big government is making a comeback and palin is the lipstick wearing elephant in the room. do you or hillary have anything to say about this race since the RNC? do you want to do that, say, out loud? um, now?!

  9. Ask Mr. Clinton why during the primaries he had no problems attacking Obama and now all he does is praise McCain and Palin. He thought it was ok to put down Obama and now all of a sudden he has morals. Its like he said today he is a democrat thats why he "have to say" Obama will win.

  10. times r tough…alliances r confusing…ideals seem disjointed….political party leanings aside….ask President Clinton if he can help clarify where we are as a country these days?
