Pimp John McCain's Ride, and His Other Ride, and His Other Ride…
Remember that neat little game from a while back, where everybody counted John McCain's houses for him?
Today, Newsweek keeps the fun coming by counting the candidates' cars: Barack and Michelle Obama have one. John and Cindy McCain, well, you'll need two hands to count theirs…
McCain's personal ride, a 2004 Cadillac CTS, is no gas sipper, but it should make Detroit happy because it's made by General Motors. "I've bought American literally all my life and I'm proud," McCain said in the interview with Detroit's WXYZ-TV. But the rest of his fleet is not all-American.
There's a 2005 Volkswagen convertible in the garage along with a 2001 Honda sedan. Otherwise, there's a 2007 half-ton Ford pickup truck, which might come in handy on the Sedona ranch; a vintage 1960 Willys Jeep; a 2008 Jeep Wrangler; a 2000 Lincoln; and a 2001 GMC SUV. The McCains also own three 2000 NEV Gem electric vehicles, which are bubble-shaped cars popular in retirement communities.
The McCains have more than ten cars between them? Wow, that's a lot.
John McCain's going to be pumped when he finds out!

well, if we go 'Globalization,' then the whole world is American, therefore, whereever the cars are made, it will be American car. I guess McCain must be the only ONE POW American ever had in our history, so we are SOOOOO proud of him and he gets away with anything. He can even choose an air head that sticks to guns and religion, and willingly pass down the whole country to her without us saying ok. (Because too many people are blinded by his 'POW' status and think the country owed him something). Well, I am a mother of 3, and I work full time, I have actual responsibility, so I guess that qualifies me to run for the president in 2012.
The Daily show should host a presidential debate!
@bearness, ok, I can kind of understand the Honda thing, and here's why: Years ago I had a Ford Tempo and my wife had a Honda Accord. My Tempo was made in Canada, and my Honda was made in Ohio. I used to ask people, "Which is my American car?"
I follow what Brandon was driving at. How much gasoline does this guy use every day, not counting his campaign vehicles? How much does he pay in utilities for all those houses? I'll venture a little guess: his gasoline and utility bills combined every month are greater than my mortgage.
Ok, so that's not against the law. In fact, last time I looked, we encouraged success here in the USA. However, his situation automatically disqualifies him and his campaign calling Obama an out of touch elitist. Period. I mean, no wonder he wants to drill so damned bad. He needs the oil to support his own habit.
wat an ass he has ten cars n sum ppl have non!
Now anyone who ever doubted that John McCain didn't understand the pain at the pump can now be silenced.
Don't forget Cindy McCain's corporate car with the license plate "Ms Bud." I don't think that has anything to do with her drug abuse past…
Ditto on the VW convertable.
Okay, you might not know this, but John McCain? Was once a POW: http://tinyurl.com/3fduum
So he gets to have all the cars he wants.
Does someone want to explain to me how the Honda sedan is consistant with "I've bought American literally all my life and I'm proud." There must be some new definition of "American", "literally" or "all" that I'm unfamiliar with.
