The Fundamentals of This Screen Grab Are Strong
Here's a screen grab one of our friends took of Secretary of the Treasury Hank Paulson and Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke emergency hearing to the Senate Banking Committee this afternoon…

Kinda says it all, doesn't it?
* Goddamit! I hardley wrote anithing yestarday, and I had too go and speel "Fundementals" incorectly. I suke.

The Senate Banking Committee could only afford one cue card, so they picked the obvious word.
@obamagramma, while I would agree that quite a few "real crooks" got out earlier, I am suspicious of H. Paulson and B. Bernanke and their roles in this bailout. Paulson keeps pushing for a quick and clean bailout to calm the markets. Congress is right to be circumspect, is not suspicious.
It's fascinating that the left and the right have finally agreed on a middle ground: this bailout not only stinks, it violates the central philosophies of BOTH major parties all at once. Not even Obama and McCain could have reached across the aisle for concensus the way this bailout has.

We all know minimum wage went up, but how much of a difference did it make? The price of everything went up, not just gas because of ike, but price of groceries and everything, even at your auto parts store. Where is the balance?
@michelle – huh?
Even the "fundamentals" are weak.

Who even knows this guy? I thought that bit on the Daily Show was priceless. With the crown and the vampire cape claiming to want to deflower virgin brides or whatever. But like I said, I don't know anything about him. Keeps a low profile.
