So, in about a half-hour, the House of Representatives will be voting on whether or not to give $700 billion of our money to some rich millionaires. And I really hope they give it a thumbs up, because those guys have had a rough time of it recently. (I've heard they've had to start lighting their cigars with flaming $10 bills? How classless.)

Assuming the House votes in favor of the bailout deal, Senate will have to pass it as well on Wednesday probably. I think it takes so long to get from the House floor to the Senate floor because the little rolled-up piece of legislation has to come up with a whole new song and dance routine for the senators.

The real question is: What are the two presidential candidates going to do with it…

The Illinois senator [Ed: I think they mean Barack Obama] is expected to support the plan, but hasn't committed yet since he's still examining the details.

Details?! What's there to examine? The question is simple: Do you hate America, or do you wanna give away an obscene amount of the taxpayers' money that they'll most likely never see again?

I'm sure John McCain won't be bothering with little details like "details"…

A spokesman for John McCain said the Republican nominee plans to be in Washington and hopes he'll be able to vote, depending on the schedule.

See that? He might not even bother with showing up to vote! After putting his campaign on make-believe suspension no less!

That's the kind of leadership I like to see in a leader.
