Want to Get Out the Vote Without Investing Any Money, Tears or Effort?
…then send your friends an eCard from Bothervoting.org, a new online GOTV effort that's pretty funny, unaffiliated with either party and over 9000% gentler than "Vote or Die."
PERMALINK:

Thanks, DaveW. Just listening to the Steelworker's Treasury Secretary's speech got me fired up. Working people are the backbone of this country, and if we don't look out for them (us), we're sunk. Every day you hear of more layoffs, and another low blow by the McCain campaign. I think I get why Obama paid attention to dissenting voices throughout his career. Listening is not participating, it's understanding how this country got to be where it's at, something McCain or Palin will never understand with their vapid exceptionalism.
My friend's mother lives in Illinois and she says she's not supporting Obama because he simply hasn't done anything there. He's not been around long enough.
The one thing I see on his record that I approve of is his hard work in trying to remove the racial bias from drug laws and sentencing. He should talk to his buddy Joe about that. Biden is in that one right up to his ears.
"No Biden, No Biden"
Sheesh. Will somebody shut that parrot up?
Oh, and by the way, what happened to that comment I left where I suggested that referring to oneself as "concernedMILF" is not the most self-respecting way for a woman to refer to herself? You might as well call yourself a pig in lipstick.
Are you such a genius? I don't think so. It takes years of study to debate history, a lot more than a couple of days. To approach history with any degree of integrity, you must first gain a solid foundation in anthropology. Do you have that? I doubt it.
It takes years. Again, polls are the lead up to a rigged election. We've already seen a few of those. Three will not be the charm here.
Ankles, ankles.

Everybody says McCain is a hero..Only he knows how to handle Iran and Iraq…He is a true patriot… WTF??? didn't he get caught??????
Did he not live in a hole in the ground for five years???
I think that makes a man a little nutty if you want my expressed opinion. I totally feel we owe a debt of gratitude to the man for his service, but come on…In charge of the free world??? I don't think so. Kerry was a veteran and the republicans smeared him. Al Gore was a veteran and more of the same. George Bush was deserter, but we elect him president??? again I must add…WTF??? Most of Americans are just plain old DUMB.
IT IS TIME, MAKE IT COUNT
Tuesday November 4th will be here quicker than we think. It will then be time to make a decision. Which of the candidates will receive your votes. Will you vote? Each and every citizen that is of voting age has the political responsibility to cast his or her ballot. Since we have the rights and freedoms as citizens, we have the responsibility to exercise the right to vote and continue to make our voices heard.
In the few minutes it takes to make our selections we will choose in which direction of our country will take. At a time when our changing society desperately needs leaders to secure our nation, the next President and Vice-President will play a vital role. But, not nearly as vital as your vote.
The Kennedy-Nixon election of 1960 showed the importance of each individual vote. This election is just as electrifying and even more important. Look past the negative campaigning and see the whole picture. GET OUT AND VOTE!

What would happen to a vote if you voted early and that candidate died, before the election? Would the vote count towards the vice president in the running, or would all votes be discarded and everyone had to vote again? Kira and friends in Terre Haute, IN
To Kira…
… ask the Missourians who voted for Mel Carnahan.
