Oklahoma Governor and Dennis Miller Gang Up on Barack Obama
In less than four weeks, Americans will cast their votes in a pivotal presidential election. They will choose between a patriotic, experienced war hero and a drug-using gang member.
At least that's how former Oklahoma Governor Frank Keating put it yesterday. Appearing on the Dennis Miller Show, he had this to say…
"He ought to admit, 'You know, I've got to be honest with you. I was a guy of the street'," Keating said. "'I was way to the left. I used cocaine. I voted liberally, but I'm back at the center.'"
Miller, a conservative, offered a long critique of Obama, calling him "the most liberal guy" and saying that the "obfuscation" and "smoke and mirrors" surrounding his campaign were "Clintonesque."
"He's starting to treat me like an idiot, too, when he's blowing this smoke my way," Miller said. "He ought to just come clean and say, 'Listen, I came up through Chicago. You make some errors there.' I'd almost be able to absolve it more easily then."
A "guy of the street," huh? This is highly problematic for a number of reasons…
* Keating is a co-chair of John McCain's campaign, and this is a clear violation of the Senator's ban on race-baiting.
* Obama did publicly admit to cocaine use, in his autobiography.
* Obama didn't move to Chicago until after he graduated from Columbia University. Any gang-banging he participated in would have been on the mean streets of Honolulu.
* Someone allowed Dennis Miller to get his own radio show.

Well if it's a Dennis Miller endevor, we can be certain it won't be funny.
I thought Dennis Miller was banned from the public airwaves after his pathetic attempt at humor on MNF?!?
Get him!
If McCain cant do it then it is up to us to fight this zombie horde!
Fight back!
I have ben fighting for a year! The fix is in! I know I was a dem! I have seen how this gang operates.
This is the big time!
shampoovta,
Resistance is futile, you will be assimilated to service the Obama collective.
You'd think McCain would avoid someone named "Keating" to promote him. And someone named "Dennis Miller," for that matter.
dennis miller is a pathetic comic and i see he still has'nt found anything he is good at. maybe he should try taco bell.
Dennis Miller is not now, nor has he ever been, a comic. I'm Thalia, and I approved this message.
"Suddenly being a self-made man is something to be feared and loathed according to the Republicans."
BL, that may be but being a self-made person of semi-mediocrity, like Palin, gains you the authenticity of running the world according to the republican trend.
Also, since when did Gov. Keating hold any clout to talk?!?
As an Oklahoman I haven't seen any progression in this state except backwards. All Frank Keating has afforded us is terrible roads, underfunded schools, uncontested drug production by meth labs, an overflowing and inefficient prison system, and high taxes on everything.
You know who else came up through Chicago?
Does a guy named Stephen Colbert sound familiar? http://www.secondcity.com/?id=history/alumni/chicago
