Sarah Palin denies her ethical violations in the firing of the public safety commissioner, but the press isn't willing to let it go.
She's too busy doing important stuff to answer any questions. Is she running from the press?

She's not hiding, she's manipulating truth in plain sight. She's managing her image. She's distorting the findings in a way so technically clever as to be defensible or invisible, sort of a see-through response. The report begins by saying that she abused her power as governor and violated the ethics. She and her lawyer say she did nothing illegal. The lawyer said this is because she did not do this for any gain. Presumably the lawyer means she didn't get any money for it. But if it is for family revenge and she deprives someone of their career/job who will not do her family revenge, that is her gain. So, indeed, she did it for gain. One does not abuse power or violate ethics without some gain, even if the gain is only the exercise of power. So the lawyer and the governor are being clever but so transparently that one wonders where IS the inner ethical compass, if any, in the righteousness package?
Palin is not hiding something but she is trying to hide something. Her methods are so bizarre that they might work with some hypnosis prone viewers. She just keeps repeating the report says she wasnt unethical when the report says she was. How often would she use this brillian technique in office? As often was would serve her interests. She is advertising herself as unscrupulous. And no amount of extrovert charm will hide that.

If we had real journalists in our world, then perhaps we could get a better vetting of all canidates.
And Stewart is a coward. I 'liked' how he made fun of the people of Wasilla during the VP debate. I notice he hasn't done the same at a rib joint in Chicago during the presidential debate…
No matter what your political views are, you cannot seriously consider Sarah Palin as Qualified for anything…She is a CON artist,Grifter,B.S artist & I am TERRIFIED of this Nut!

However if she wins and come to Britain on a visit there's not we can do execpt throw rotten vegetables @ her that's an old english custom by the way we do it to all politicians we don't like!
i think she is unfairly targeted…power abuse ?? isnt that prerequisite to being a politician…they were right in saying that she's inexperience…she got caught…i'm sure this experience will serve her well….

Jon Stewart and a few more "journalists" (i.e. Keith Olbermann, Stephan Colbert, Rachel Maddow, Lou Dobbs, Paul Krugman to name a few) are true patriots and have more courage than you could ever imagine having. It takes conviction and courage to speak out against the establishment. These people are serving you well and you neither understand it nor do you appreciate it.

if you don't misrepresent the truth or lie, don't accuse others of what you have done yourself or flip flop there are no "gotcha" questions. they can't get you if you are honest and know what the hell you are talking about. if you haven't been this way then every question becomes a gotcha moment. she also doesn't answer questions cause her answers are usually worse than dead silence.
I see your point about her lack of experience and knowledge in Jedi mind tricks. Were she a true Jedi, she too could convince us that she wasn't really a friend of terrorists. She could go on to explain that after listening attentively to a "mentor", racist preacher for 20 years, she didn't have any knowledge of his anti-American, anti-white devil sermons. To cap things off she could explain away the fact that in 49 years she had never held a real job or been in charge of anything! In a true act of charity I hope Jedi Obama will be able to guide this young one in the way of the force… Only then will we know if the Force is strong in this one. Forward my e-mails to France. At least their president is pro-U.S.
