This show is just racist and offensive, I've seen a few episodes and there's really nothing funny about it. The vast majority of the skits just promote ignorance. Chappelle was clever and insightful with his humor, this is absolute garbage.

The only thing I recall David Alan Grier from is McHales Navy. His show is just so ignorant and ridiculous. Who actually finds this funny? With Chappelle out Comedy Central figured they needed a new minority to fill the time slot so they hired this loser of a comedian to do it. Mind of Mencia was a joke and this is even worse. This show wont go anywhere at all. South Park, the Daily Show, and the Colbert Report are truly amazing and not because they were created and star white people, its because they are intelligent, funny, and truly creative. This is the same old racist jargon we hear again and again. Its just annoying, not funny, and if you enjoy watching this garbage I feel so sorry for you.
I dont get it… how does this stuff get on the air… hes doing the same dumb impressions he did on his other shows….i usually have a huge group of people over at my house to watch southpark… and the second chocolate news comes on everyone starts booing and who ever has the remote gets yelled at if more than 1 minute of chocolate news is shown…. we all wish the sarah silverman program would be on right after southpark… its a great show and that would make for a great "tv night" — i hope sarahs show is doing well, but it would def do better and gain a wider audience right after southpark… i know ur trying to promote chocolate news buy sticking it right after southpark because so many people just leave their tv's on… but come on.. the show sucks.
After watching one episode i have to say Chocolate news is, no joke, the worst show on T.V. period. Why would comedy central put this crap on t.v. If i was black i would be pissed i was being represented like that. Is comedy central this desperate. "How will we appeal to blacks now that Chappelle show is gone"? oh yeah David Allen Greer"! WRONG. Just move on. Please end this shit.

After going back through all these comments. First, and i dont want to get into a race battle here, but yes there should be a vanilla news and a WET ( white entertainment television) if we have BET and etc. Thats racism. And stuff like that is why racism is still around. Buts thats here nor there. None of these comments that i've seen have been positive or pro Chocolate news. HINT HINT, end this shit!
Chocolate News is the biggest piece of shit I have ever watched. I can't even stand it. You're not Dave Chappelle! We get it your black get over it.
I downloaded this season off iTunes. Huge mistake. So now I'm forced to download this every week. I bought it because I was a fan of DAG, but this is show is pretty bad. The racial humor is especially tired when it's not funny.
I hope they get new/better writers soon, as I don't see this reaching season 2.
