Sarah Palin Spends $150,000 On Clothes, But She Won't Be Wearing Them for Long
They call her Caribou Barbie, and wouldn't you know, her pretty outfits and accessories cost more than Joe Sixpack makes in three years.
Forget change, the RNC made sure Sarah Palin got a change of clothes…
The Republican National Committee has spent more than $150,000 to clothe and accessorize vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin and her family since her surprise pick by John McCain in late August.
According to financial disclosure records, the accessorizing began in early September and included bills from Saks Fifth Avenue in St. Louis and New York for a combined $49,425.74. The records also document a couple of big-time shopping trips to Neiman Marcus in Minneapolis, including one $75,062.63 spree in early September.
The RNC also spent $4,716.49 on hair and makeup through September after reporting no such costs in August.
(Hunting rifle and helicopter sold separately.)
"With all of the important issues facing the country right now, it's remarkable that we're spending time talking about pantsuits and blouses," said spokeswoman Tracey Schmitt. "It was always the intent that the clothing go to a charitable purpose after the campaign."
There you have it: She's giving away her politician dress-up suits on November 5. So, can we assume she's heading home to her parka collection in Wasilla?
Or are the Republicans trying to sway undecided voters by suggesting she'll rule the Senate in her underwear?

You can put a pig in expensive clothes, it's still a pig. Anyway I would have thought she would have bought her clothes at Abercrombie and Bitch.
Re: Barstool Economics
I have no idea what that has to do with Palin's clothes. I might be stupid as you suggest, but I don't think the amount she's received in clothing relate to a tax increase or decrease. If it does, please correct me.
If you're making an unrelated snap about Obama's tax plan, you haven't read it, and probably nothing we can do will convince you to read it.
I'd like to know how she gets a pass from the right and sportsmen aka Ted Nugent USA who claim you should "eat whatcha kill" when she flies around in a helicopter randomly shooting wolves?
She does not land, skin, and eat these wolves.
yet she is the babe of the American sportsmen and represents their ETHICS?
BTW how many times they gonna drag out LEE GREENWOOD in the name of "you can't be a patriot with being a christian without being a republican"?!!!!
Say Justin,
Before you start regurgatating a bunch of internet drivel, you might want to check your sources.

They laid out $150K and they still have only an empty suit? They was robbed. So much for conservative economics.
Last time I saw boots like that was at a New York show, and the young lady in question was shaking with a rather convincing blend of fear and intoxication under the lash of a big whip.
Does she come with a Kung-fu Grip or do I have to wait for the re release?
I think it's a shame that in these bad times most of us are only able to shop, if we can at the goodwill and she's out buying 150,000 worth of clothes. give me a break
eyekandy, re read it. The cloths are donated to charitable purposes after. Sure its stupid that they spent that much on clothing for her to temporarily wear but it beats Obama campain buying a brain washing channel on satellite imo. Second of all, the bar stool Economics does pretty much cover Obama's tax plans. His plans are right on with Marxism, or should i say communism. Higher paying jobs require more speicallization to acquire. To make those jobs appealing to a person they have to have compensation for the extra time learning. This is turn is where democracy and freedom comes into play and people get compensated fairly for the job and time. High tax on the super specialized jobs will make them less appealing which in turn means less doctors and other high paying professions that we need. Obamas plan is communist and his ideals are socialist.

have a good read and show and learn a thing or two.
P.s. end part of the first link ( a video) is stupid. I'm not for McCain but I'm against Obama, not because he is black but because his policies and past life and info are sketchy and because his plans are far fetch and impossible. As much as he does scare me though, Hillary Clintons ideas scared me more hah. But still McCain is the best choice imo which still is a poor choice
