The ATF says it has broken up a plot to assassinate Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama and shoot or decapitate 102 black people in a Tennessee murder spree.
In court records unsealed Monday, agents said they disrupted plans to rob a gun store and target an unnamed but predominantly African-American high school by two neo-Nazi skinheads.

What i don' understand is, everyone says he is black, but in reality he is bi-racial. Half white and Half black..its a pity that in society, color is most important..i'm not denying that racism doesn't exist! for sure it does! Realistically speaking though, Obama was brought up by his white mother, white grandparents and how relevant are they, now that society only chooses to see color of his skin?
Maybe we should all look at it this way, Obama got the best of both sides, black and white. Strong in culture and strong in determination, now that folks!, is not a bad thing at all. Harmony people!, it wont hurt or harm you, only stupidity & bad choices does!

Kevin in Europe is completely right. Its not the amatures like those 2 to worry about. It is all the ones with the resources they need to carry something horrific out (good wording on that Kevin). However, I'm sure every precaution will be taken every step of the way to ensure his safety. If it means him having to ride around in a bubble car (although I doubt he'd do that, he's too much of a people person). Funny also that you bring up JFK… I think Obama will be the next great president since JFK. The field is set for him to become so much more than any president before him, and I believe he will succeed in bringing the changes we need for this country to stabalize again. Not only the US needs Obama, but the world does as well!
Everytime I watch Barack at some live event, I hold my breath, praying that nothing awful happens. WE are all this brother's keeper so, if you're ever lucky enough to be in Barack's presence at a rally, the inauguration – whatever – keep your eyes and ears open. This country has come a long way since 1968 but it only takes one armed lunatic to shatter everything and, unfortunately, there are still plenty of them around. Surround this man with love, please!

I Think Kevin from Europe is on to something. However; I also think that it only takes one bullet, nomatter who fires it, to get the job done. It is a shame that some people think the way they do, but buy getting mad and insulting them just lowers you to their level. If Obama becomes the next president, I hope the guys taking care of him, do a better job than they did with J.F.K. Personaly, I would like to see a debate where the issuses were dicussed and not all the mud slinging. I would like to make an informed vote.
I also think that we need to pray for those two boys and everyone like them. They have a sickness…. it's called ignorance.
