8:34 – Here's what I think. If you've gone all this time without being able to make a choice between Obama and McCain, I don't see how this is gonna change people's minds. I didn't see or hear anything here that I didn't see and hear a thousand times before.

Tonight, Barack Obama will become the first African-American presidential candidate with two children and no pets leading in the polls by an average of 5 points to purchase a half hour of primetime network television a week before the election delaying the start of a Major League Baseball game. I want to note that as soon as was possible, John McCain did the right thing, see his endorsement of Obama below. Thanks John, I feel better about you already.
You know… I just finished watching the video. I live in Europe (Norway), and after seeing how the REAL americans struggle…. I feel like we should help too. No… I feel like _I_ should help. I want to. Because I know it must be hard beeing screwed over by your pension company, your insurance company, …hell… your own government and your own president even screwed you over!! There is no-one better off in the US than the way-upper-class, and they are milking the rest of you. It might be hard to see while you're in the middle of it, but we're seeing it clearly from over here.. FIGHT BACK!
obama said he was going to help people like joe the plumber. what about people that would love to make the money that joe the plumber does. what about people that make less than $30,000 dollars a year? we need help to.
War Warts would be afraid of anything rational and forward moving. It saps them of their only strength: being a potential hero. I think the last generation had too large a dose of Superheroes at the movies. You don't know an intelligent man when you see one.
I love Obama and hope he wins the election. This was a great video of what America is about now, in real time, not movie script time of Superman, Batman, Spiderman & friends. Open your eyes. Everybody can be a hero by doing small things which contribute to positive changes. It is all about freedom.
I have been depressed about this American government for longer than eight years. I've been learning Spanish to give myself the choice between Canada and Spain. It's become embarrassing, and depressing, to be an American.
At last, I feel I have an option to take back my birthright. I would like to be proud of being an American again. Barack Obama offers more promise to improve our educational system and health care, fight government corruption, end our participation in wars that we have no reason to foster and restore our reputation in the global community.
I don't understand why some citizens like to poke fun at Obama or foster prejudice against him because of his race. He is the most intelligent, articulate, statesmanlike candidate for president I've seen since JFK. Why anyone would put him down is incomprehensible. People who do need to examine their motives.
Let's gather together, Americans, around Barack Obama and form a new union of patriots dedicated to making this a great country again!
Dear Ignorant person.. Barack is a Christian.. Doh! Stop trying to scare people by spreading ignorance and lies! The point is to look past our differences and unite the country not to divide it. To work together for the common good of the nation! I for one am tired of the same old politics! It's time for a change. I'll choose the man who sticks to the issues, instead of spreading hatred and fear to divide us. You choose whoever you like… it's called democracy… there are a few other American morals I think you forgot though.. like liberty and justice for ALL.. Freedom of religion, and several others. Next.. educate yourself on what 99% of REAL muslims believe!! It's in direct contradiction to the wacked out extremist ones who attacked us….not all that surprisingly. We can't let fear dictate the future of this country, nor hatred, this country was built on the principal that "all men" are created equal! Our forefathers wanted everyone to be able to participate in this government, and wanted everyone to have a chance at building the American dream, not just the Christian people. In fact, one of the main reason they all created a new country was to ESCAPE religious persicution in their own countries. They wanted everyone to be free to worship as they choose, without government intervention: Check your constitutional amendments for proof! Therefore racism is in direct conflict with patriotism it seems!
Perhaps if you think of it this way…Do we blame all christian people because the KKK commits crimes against humanity? No… We say.. This is a very small group of extremists who miss the point of Christianity… same is true for terrorists! It's a small segment of their population, and they are missing the point of their own religion! Watch American History X… learn about how ignorant racism is, maybe it will help!
I've never met any politician who lived the life they want to build a bright future for. WAKE UP (MCCAIN SUPPORTERS) We are in a recession…lowest ever since the Great Depression, why the heck do we want to continue spending money on war when we have nothing at home? Winning the war is still important but unless you make $250,000 a year, you're going to have to ration. Don't be power hungry for pride, realise we need our economy to be stronger…if not…then our Democracy isn't working…who are we to say it'll work for Iraqis?
I would like to voice my agreement with Teresa Smith. Many Americans have incomes under 30,000 bucks a year. We are spouses and parents trying to provide a better life for our families and ourselves. The party that has had control of the government for the last years has shown their lack of compassion for people that are in tough financial situations. I'm not certain that the other party will do what is needed to get us back in the game, especially since mention of helping the poor has bees cospicuously absent from the dialog this election season, But I'm willing to give em a chance.
Do the political parties care about the plight of the working poor? Let's find out.
