Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert to Join Forces for Live Election Night Special
Comedy Central is trying to keep it hushed, so thank God you came to Indecision 2008 today.
The low budget, art-house special will reunite the giants of fake news at The Daily Show studio and will be broadcast to a limited audience including anyone who has cable or is standing in view of MTV's 44 1/2 foot JumboTron in the heart of Times Square at 10p EST on Election Night.

Ahem. When we on this side of the pond go to the TV Guide channel the shows are listed for the time zone you're living in. It even says PT right there on the screen! We are very accustomed to living in a country with many time zones, thank you very much.
And why all the anger? You really seem to have alot of anger towards Americans. Or is it just people in general? First you sneer at people because you assume they don't know what time zone they're in. Then you get all pissed because people are offended. And you see, you're wrong. We were given the incorrect time. So get a grip yourself.
ellen, and when the tv guide is wrong you guys go to the website of the tv channel in question (which by the way stated the times very clearly) and demand that people get fired. or persons appearing on the particular show personally reprimanded. that makes a whole lot of sense. it is just somehow something i do not see anyone doing with, say, bbc.
and sure – i of course am very angry at americans. oh sorry – people in general.

I don't care who gets fired (except Colbert and Stewart…oh…and Oliver) I just want to know that someone's life is going to be miserable because I didn't get to watch my show today >:(
RIDE ON………..I have just rolled up my 7th victory joint of the evening, and what an evening. Proposal 1 in Michigan passed with a landslide reminiscent of Obama Historic Night! Maybe it’s my age but I knew I would see a Black President (besides Bill Clinton), but I never thought I would see the day when I would be able to grow my own pot. Of course like Obama, Prop 1 will have its challenges to over come. Fox News, and the cops will not rest in till this Historical Night becomes a nightmare, but for tonight all the stoners in Michigan are smoking blunts with cardboard cutout Barack Obamas’. To top it off Clone Fucking got one step closer to reality as Proposal 2 also passed, although just barely. Your show tonight was brilliant, but then again I was chain smoking doobies and watching white chicks getting freaky with any man of color that would pass by. It is a fucking love fest here in the blue states. I don’t know how many Obama Election Babies were created tonight but my guess there will be a lot of babies born next summer. By 8:30 the booze, and smoke started rolling, and by the time 11 rolled around the whole country seemed to be taking part in one epic orgy. The good time that was felt around the world, made its way across the globe spreading like a gigantic cop-a-feel, and next thing you know the entire planet was swept up in a state of euphoria that will be herald through out the cosmos. Starry eyed, and in total submission The Obama-Nation or Obamanation (and that is my phrase I coined it back in April, give Dick some respect) waited on every word of the God before them. I have never seen anything like it other than in old films of Jim Morrison. As he spoke his divine words of hope you could see the look of loss on his face. Obviously the loss of his Grandmother weighed heavy, so I will cut the man some slack if he just looked like he was hit by a truck instead of becoming the second Black President (see Clinton) but the loss upon Barack Obama’s face was pale in comparison of that of Brit Hume (sp). Poor old Bit was beaten before 8:00. His anguish was beyond funny. For hours I watched the man almost cry and try to figure what the fuck just happened. As bad of a day as Obama was having and Bit’s breakdown the most effected by this election night was Juan Williams (11pm-1am). I have never felt sadder for a pundit in all my life, while all the other Black reporters were crying tears of joy and celebrating as white hot young tail was all around just look for a Black Fox for an in-depth one on one off the record interview, he was playing the roll of the loyal house slave entertaining the master after the other slaves have run off because Atlanta is burning. “Yes Brit your right.” But you take one look at the man and he is so ready to bitch slap old Miss Daisy Hume and join the party. Even John McCain didn’t have as bad of a night as Juan. Now that is the definition of sad…………LDH

Unlike Mr. Colbert's deep republican ties and staunch conservative views, I am a protester by profession that leans far to the left till sobriety ultimately flees and I tip over. I will undoubted resort to having to arranging anti WTO protest from my parents basement or a university campus washroom since I can no longer rally against the very existance of the now outgoing Pres. Bush…. What with a socialist, half white…errrr First Afro-American as president ;alas there is nothing left to protest.
Kudos on having RUSH perform on your show a while back..now we all know why those Canadians never appeared on American TV in decades.
I am happy and proud to learn that Obama is elected president at 11 PM Eastern when you guys declared it… I switched to CNN to learn more though…
