An Obama win is starting to look more rather than less likely. I'd like to know what an Obama Presidency would mean for Britons.
What would happen to a vote if you voted early and that candidate died, before the election? Would the vote count towards the vice president in the running, or would all votes be discarded and everyone had to vote again? Kira and friends in Terre Haute, IN

I early voted for myself, Dennis. I wrote myself in as "Commie Socialist Stain" and I'm going to wait up all night and see how many votes I get. I think I have a chance. I really do.
I simply must note my admiration for frequent poster, Jim, who has valiantly pushed Bob Barr's candidacy, despite great odds, despite other posters who are hostile or dismissive, and has done so with what I believe is fairly good grace.
It reminds me of George Carlin's admiration for a weed that grows in the middle of a concrete sidewalk, because it's so fucking heroic.
