Why Was Evidence of Barack Obama's Potty Mouth Suppressed?
We all knew the press was in the tank for Obama, but this is ridiculous. How on Earth is this man going to govern? HIS LANGUAGE IS SALTY, PEOPLE!
The debates unnerved both candidates. When he was preparing for the Democratic primary debates, Obama was recorded saying, "I don't consider this to be a good format for me, which makes me more cautious. I often find myself trapped by the questions and thinking to myself, 'You know, this is a stupid question, but let me … answer it.' So when Brian Williams is asking me about what's a personal thing that you've done [that's green], and I say, you know, 'Well, I planted a bunch of trees.' And he says, 'I'm talking about personal.' What I'm thinking in my head is, 'Well, the truth is, Brian, we can't solve global warming because I fucking changed light bulbs in my house. It's because of something collective'."
I'm appalled. If you're not mocking a death row prisoner's plea for her life or cursing out an elderly senator for defending himself against accusations of religious apostasy, that kind of language has no place in this country's greatest halls of power.
I find it so funny that this is appalling, and yet the fact that McCain not only dropped several F bombs, but attempted to physically abuse the oldest member of the senate (took a swing at him)….a well known fact….was also not publicized….
I guess this means that the media was in the tank for McCain?
Hell, even fox news has talked about McCain using the f bomb (far before the election, mind you)

It's nice to know that Obama is a real person who get's frustrated. I mean seriously Being the president (or running for that matter) has to be one of the most difficult jobs ever. At the end of the day every president we have ever had is still human, lol we are not governed by robots I think it's perfectly normal when they show some emotion, frustration or even anger. (Not that I want any of our preseidents to Go Kim Il Jong or whatever that napoleonic north korean freak's name is)
"Well, the truth is, Brian, we can't solve global warming because I fucking changed light bulbs in my house. It's because of something collective."
QFT
Well FYI I;m not a hugh fan of Barrack but
A) these words weren't spoken in the "halls of power"
B) Tell Dick Cheney and the who actuall dropped the F*** bomb – on the record, on the Senate floor because someone had the audacity to disagree with him. Nixon tapes show he was in constant use of such language. And McCain (as any ex military officer) is supposedly famous for
C) Where is the proof of this statement was made and to whom and when?
D) I agree it shouldn't be used in what is tatamount to sacred ground of the USA. But if that is your criteria for picking a President with the exception of Jimmy Carter(Who said "I'll whip his ass" regarding Ted Kennedy's announcement he was running for the nomination) but if use of salty language is your criteria you haven't been able to vote for a President in your lifetime
I agree with Shannon – I like him more now too.
Most of the questions in the primary debates (republican and democratic) were stupid. If you disagree with me, raise your hand.
This just makes me like him more.
It was still a good answer. haha
