George Bush Regrets Some Regretful Things That Are Regrettable
Are you ready for this bombshell? President Bush has recently informed the American people that he was apparently something slightly less than a flawless president.
I know! I'm as shocked as you!
"I think I was unprepared for war," Bush told ABC News' Charlie Gibson in an interview airing today on "World News."
"In other words, I didn't campaign and say, 'Please vote for me, I'll be able to handle an attack,'" he said. "In other words, I didn't anticipate war. Presidents — one of the things about the modern presidency is that the unexpected will happen."
The "unexpected" is always such a bitch like that.
I mean, how the hell was Bush supposed to be able to predict that he'd drag us into a fabricated, unlawful war of his own creation based upon trumped up evidence.
Seriously. He had absolutely no way of predicting that Congress would actually let him get away with that so easily.
