The Colbert Report: Khaled Hosseini Wants to be Patient With Afghanistan

POSTED BY: TheInDecider

President-elect Obama has made it clear that he will put more troops in Afghanistan.
Stephen says now that we're focused on it, this war should be a piece of cake, but author Khaled Hosseini disagrees.

Will more troops help in Afghanistan, or should we just get Al Roker addicted to heroin?

  1. Ms. Hosseini couldn't be more wrong. More troops, especially Air Force personel, would only make Afganistan more crowded. Like a Sunday marketplace in Kabul. American dogs stay home! We Afgan's promise to cleanup and fly right so you don't have to worry anymore. Everybody home for Christmas!
