I loved this segment and I do believe there is real truth in the theory that LIberals and Conservatives think different. For example: I am a liberal and have a deeply optimistic view of the world. I believe that positive thinking breeds positivity. My roommate however is a Conservative and no matter what the subject he always views everything through a lens of fears and distrust of people & the world in general. I see it in the types of movies, TV show, books and his perspective on any subject. Too him the glass is half empty. To me the glass is half full.
Of course people think differently. But I don't think that you come out of the womb with a mind that is pre-written for you. I think that you are what you learn throughout life. Nobody is destined to become a liberal or conservative for life. I'll bet that a conservative can become a liberal if he wants to.

Both of my parents are right-wing evangelical Christians and I'm a communist so I'm not quite sure how true the whole genes thing is.
Just realizing.. that Forbes mag gave the results of their research of the most & least healthy states… you'll notice a HUGE correlation between the 10 LEAST HEALTHY states and republican votes…. … hmmm….. (no shit!)
