Coleman is a hippo-crite. He condems his opponent, than turns around and keeps this senate race going for which he condems. What a wac-co. Coleman would have lost the last election to Wellstone except for the questionable plane crash that Wellstone was in. I am neither a repub of a demo. I vote for the person. But I have a hard time processing all the politicians along w/their dishonesty and greed. They (the politicians) forget that they are working for and getting paid by the American citizens.

I remember when Coleman urged Franken to concede the election and save Minnesota from undergoing a recount (which was going to happen automatically because the election was so close). Coleman wanted to spare his state the expense and delay of a further election contest. Coleman said that he would concede if he were in Franken's position of trailing by more than 200 votes. He's been in that position for a couple of weeks now... I think being a liar and a hypocrite should disqualify him from public office. I wouldn't vote for him as dog-catcher.

Does Norm Coleman's head fit perfectly into a shoebox? I mean, like, with no air spaces?

Maybe it's the haircut. Whatever. But he should know that he and his kind are what is wrong with American politics today.

Coleman's trying to torture Franken into submission. He knows Franken can't tell a joke until after he's certified.

Coleman is disgusting. He's evil and nothing short of a first-string lackey for Bush. The whole reason this particular race has become so drawn out is not only because of partisan politics (yet another Dem in the senate), but because Coleman is dirty and quite frankly a bit scary. He needs to concede already in order to maintain any kind of self-dignity... to his party and himself.

I knew Norm would never act like a mature adult, concede and spare us the continued pain of this never-ending election (and the cost associated with a lawsuit). So I'm not surprised a bit. This is coming from a man who got himself elected as a Democrat in a long-standing Democrat-voting city, and once in office, changed parties and quickly befriended George Bush and supported him 90 percent of the time, who takes credit for efforts that others did, then recently aired negative ads that were frankly disgusting, and when everyone called him on it, did a press conference to say he was suspending all negative ads and taking the high road to try to look like he was above it all. This man cannot be trusted to ever do the right thing.

Instead of letting us move ahead and get back to the work of getting our state and country on the road to recovery from the horrible economic mess his pal's administration and people like him got us into, we have to continue to hear daily about this lawsuit and his whining about ballots that were properly rejected being counted after he soundly put down Franken for wanting to count improperly rejected ballots.

Thanks, Norm, for continuing this endless, ridiculous mess.

This is beyond ridiculous. Al Franken, a comedian, is trained to be alert to the world, to be skeptical, to recognize irony, and to be witty. All the qualities we'd hope for in any politician
Coleman, on the other hand, gained a reputation as being dull and plodding, a lapdog and yes-man to the dumbest, laziest, and arguably the most dishonest president in US History.

Is there any question about who should represent Minnesota in the US Senate? Why is there even a question? Coleman and his legion of Republican lawyers are holding off the inevitable. Leave, Coleman, go, depart, at long last, Coleman, BE GONE!
