You Probably Don't Have Tickets to Barack Obama's Inaugural Parade
AHHHHH! I can't believe it. I didn't get a ticket for a seat along the Inaugural parade route, even though I've been exercising my mouse-clicking muscles for weeks.
I guess I didn't stand a chance. Parade seat tickets, which went on sale via Ticketmaster today, sold out in under a minute…
Albert Lopez, a Ticketmaster spokesman, said the company can process 14,000 tickets per minute on its online system. A 2008 concert by AC/DC in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, sold out in three and a half minutes, meaning the Inaugural tickets went at a faster rate.
Obama gave "truly a rock-star performance," Lopez joked.
Man! This is gonna be the most exciting parade ever. I bet the Big O's planning some crazy pyro. Maybe even a fake Stonehenge.
More than 90 groups, from high school marching bands to a NASA float and the entire student body of the Virginia Military Institute, will participate in the country's 56th inaugural parade. Bands from both Barack and Michelle Obama's high schools will be included.
On second thought, you know what, maybe I'll just watch this from home on TV.
Assuming there isn't a good Law & Order episode on at the same time.
Forget about tickets, if I were you I'd buy indecision2012.com now before its too late!!
Who would want a ticket, when we all wake up in hell and Obama's got the pitch fork, you wont give a damn about a fuckin ticket.
If y'all seriously can't get tickets and really want them, I gotta guy. He got me into sold out Fenway in 2004. Then again, I have selfish motives not wanting you two to go. I'm looking forward to a Liveblog. What else is there left for that? Blago's conviction hearing in the IL Senate? Twittering seems like a pain in the ass anyways. But, the whole wheat goodness side in me says you both deserve to go. Pull the CC strings Donna MPS (Italian/Canadian?)
Oh, what's all this bloody fuss about anyway? He doesn't even own a guitar.
I can't believe Ron White did not make the "top 20" for the vote! He should be number 1! I just don't get people…..they don't know a good thing when they see one…..or maybe have never watched his "stand-up". Ron White is my favorite comedian of all time. I just hope he knows just how great he is. That's all I have to say.
Thank you
