The Daily Show LIVE on Inauguration Day
You won't need to wait until Barack Obama's historic inauguration as the 44th President of the United States is old news on Wednesday night to get Jon Stewart and the Daily Show correspondents' perspective on the Inauguration Day events.
The Daily Show is all set to report LIVE on Inauguration Day night (is that an oxymoron?) Tuesday, January 20th at 11 pm.
As such, you won't be faced with a deafening silence on George Bush's forward retreat from office. Nor will you miss out on any of the huge bits of Obama inaudacious audacities of hopeful reality.

I was disappointed in tonights show, the humor was below the belt, crude and left me feeling sad. I love this show and hoped for better on such a historic day and night. Is that the best you can do? If so, you should follow Bush and go quietly.
A very disappointing Daily Show tonight…. comparing Bush and Obama's comments. It wasn't humorous. We had 30 people over for a celebration and not one thought it was funny. It fact, it was disappointing…..Come on, Jon, what were you trying to prove. You can do better!

Re: Obama's Speech similar to Bush's
What's sad here is that it took "The Daily Show" to point out the obvious double standard in politics today. People say President Bush is a narrow minded biggot when he speaks with patriotism but President Obama is brilliant when he says the same things. I'm not saying President Obama isn't smart and obviously he's a better communicator, but I do believe President Bush loved this country with every fiber of his being despite being mocked and disrespected by the people he protected.

Jon's comparison of Obama and Bush's statements was brilliant! I'm so glad The Daily Show hasn't lost its edge. We still need smart satire. I'm a big Obama supporter and was totally inspired by the inaugural events, but we've got to be able to laugh at OURSELVES sometimes. Keep it up, Jon, you were great!
