Lincoln Memorable

Since Glenn Beck's 8/28 Rally was such a huge success, does that mean he's now a greater man than Martin Luther King. Or just as great?

Fox News Poll: George W. Bush Is a Good Person, It's the Pictures That Got Small

Last night our soon-to-be-former president George W. Bush gave his farewell address to the nation, which, to be honest, I didn't watch because I went to the movies instead. I figured there would be plenty of clips and excerpts available online today, and also that George W. Bush's farewell address to the nation would go something like this: "Terr'rists… 9/11… terr'rists… terr'rist attack… troops… terr'rists."

I also figured I could get an accurate read on the nation's opinion of Bush by checking out the latest Fox News poll

Despite record low job approval ratings, most Americans think George W. Bush is a good person. And as he prepares to leave the presidency, more than twice as many people think history will be cruel to Bush as think history will be kind.

Why is history always not listening to the will of the people?

According to a FOX News poll taken during Bush's final full week in office, 34 percent of Americans say they approve of the job he is doing and 58 percent disapprove — his highest positive rating since December of 2007.

Yes. That is because the job he is doing is packing.

  1. If Dubya is such a good person, why did he pick Karl Rove to destroy hard drives Congress wanted, lie in the leadup to Iraq, ignore UN IAEA teams, do away with the 1957 Articles of the Geneva Convention, and bypass the nation's laws in the United States Constitution, let New Orleans die, send troops to the country who had NOTHING TO DO with 9/11, and led the GOP into fascism? These are not good things. He is responsible. He is not a good person. If he's good, then Hitler is an angel. :(

  2. PRESIDENT BUSH disapointed this voter, in that he ran as a conservative, however his agenda proved not to be so, the I-35 super hyway in tx connectiing mexico and canada, also the way that the border patrol officers were jailed and treated. than he only at the last day of his office gave a half ass pardon, did not give them a full pardon HE also talked about a one world government like his father.
yes I voted for him twice and now i dont trust anyone that will ever run waving a conservative banner, i will check out their past voting record…i think washington is filled with self serving men and women, and could care less about the U.S.A. A BUNCH OF LIERS ,CHEATS, AND THIEFS, they are above the law ,no tax, free housing, 100 dollar steaks, polose in jumbo jet, obama 170 million dollar fiesta!….i have had it.+we dont even have the right to know if obama is a natural born citizin, THE MIDIA WONT TOUCH IT,
