It does not matter if the story is true or not, the point is O'Reilly being a lying hypocrite with double standards. He says he does not report rumors, and anyone in the media who does is a dishonest and corrupt journalist. That is O'Reilly's own opinion of journalists who report rumors that can not be confirmed.
But that's only when the rumor is about a Republican, like McCain, remember when the rumor was reported about McCain and the lobbyist. O'Reilly said it was brutally wrong to report it unless you can verify it to be true. He said if you can not verify it shut up and do not report it.
Then as soon as a rumor comes out about a Democrat he is the first one to report it, and he even makes it his lead story. It's massive hypocrisy, and a massive double standard. It also shows what a piece of shit biased Republican he is, because if that was a rumor about a Republican woman he would have never reported it.
And I should know, I have been monitoring O'Reilly for close to 9 years now.
