See, i thought the free-market capitalism thing was working fine. I mean, what could ever go wrong there?
Also, why do people insist on using the "we" form when criticizing use of the "we" form.
Personally, i prefer either "Wee Form" or, via Bugs Bunny, "Weform."
Jim, we've been socialists for a long time: Social Security, employer or state provided health care, paid time off, holidays, collective bargaining, pensions, 40 hour work week, public education… all enumerated in the Manifesto.

BTW, if you want a troubling magazine article, the latest issue of Newsweek proclaims on the cover "We are all Socialists now." We're screwed.
Unfortunately, churches can donate unlimited amounts of money on "issues" like anyone else without it affecting their tax exempt status. Furthermore, even though its against the rules, no church has lost their tax exempt status even when they crossed the line and improperly endorsed a candidate.
What needs to be done is putting campaign contribution limits on issues.
