Yes We Can Have More Violence and Misery, Thanks to Barack Obama

He may or may not be the Antichrist/Hitler, but one thing's for certain: Barack Obama's election has made the world a more violent, hate-filled, miserable place.

Abuse of prisoners at Guantanamo Bay has worsened sharply since President Barack Obama took office as prison guards "get their kicks in" before the camp is closed, according to a lawyer who represents detainees.

Abuses began to pick up in December after Obama was elected, human rights lawyer Ahmed Ghappour told Reuters. He cited beatings, the dislocation of limbs, spraying of pepper spray into closed cells, applying pepper spray to toilet paper and over-forcefeeding detainees who are on hunger strike.

Jeez, what next? Increased membership in known hate groups, and racist kooks bragging about how President Obama is the best recruiting tool they've ever had?

[Racist kook Don] Black claims the number of registered members and readers on his white nationalist Web site surged to unprecedented levels in recent months.

On the day after Obama's historic election, more than 2,000 people joined his Web site, a remarkable increase from the approximately 80 new members a day he was getting, Black said. His Web site, which was started in 1995, is one of the oldest and largest hate group sites. The site received so many hits that it crashed after election results were announced. The site boasts 110,000 registered members today, Black said.

Just think. If only we'd elected John McCain, we wouldn't have any of these problems. With the torture and the scary racists.
