Stephen Colbert Is a Hero in Washington D.C.
If Washington D.C. does end up getting its precious voting representative in Congress, residents of the City by the Swamp may have none other than Stephen Colbert to thank for making it happen, according to the much-beaten-upon Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton…
And if that doesn't convince you of Colbert's star-status on the Hill, Missouri Sen. Claire McCaskill was Tweeting about him just last night…
Colbert last night…picky picky picky. He doesn't realize that when the Pres speaks for 9 min it seems like 30 sec. Mom loved her face time.
And Tweeting, as we all know, is like the highest form of flattery.

Of course it's "all about her" Rev. Russell. We at the Nation demand it! In short, your "selfless" attitude would have left you unrepresented. Then again, who wants to represent the selfless. If your selfless are you also souless. REV. I THINK YOU MAY BE DEAD!
colbert is a hero even in utah!1!!!
I just watched the Report's opening clip from last night and I thought it was hilarious how Stephen said he'd heard "some crazy rumors" about him and Ms. Norton. I thought it was cute how he had his adorable smirk that said I'm embarrassed, but it's hilarious. Well done you two! I hope you get the vote Ms. Norton! I always love it when you go on Stephen's show. ;]
you gotta love Ms. Holmes-Norton!!
we would not vote her back in to rep us again and again if we didn't love her like we do.
I don't really see how fighting for your constituents' rights makes you self-absorbed, Russell.
Oh, wait. That's because it doesn't.
Before you get back on your fragile soap box, you should probably have an inkling of what you're talking about.
That's too funny. A "reverend" who uses (or wants to use) an expletive as an adjective.
Ms Holmes once again demonstrates she is just another self-absorbed politician in spite of her cause… DC voting rights not with standing.. it's all about her.. like all the ***&^^%%$# politicians in Washington… the voting rights for DC residents is valid cause, sadly DC has the wrong point person. She is not the people's Rep.. she is her own… it's all about her. *
