Having Nothing Better to Do, Joe the Plumber Sues Unemployed People
Tell you what, I'd sure hate to be Helen Jones-Kelley right now. That's because the former Ohio state official is being sued, along with two other now-fired government workers, by the one and only Rush Limbaugh.
Sorry, I mean Joe the Plumber…
Toledo-area plumber and 2008 presidential campaign fixture Samuel Wurzelbacher filed a federal lawsuit today that charges Ohio government officials with violating his constitutional rights by searching confidential government databases for information about him.
No sir, you don't mess with a man's constitutional rights like that, especially not a man who's a patriot like Samuel the Wurzelbacher. Good thing Joe's hired Judicial Watch, a "public interest group that investigates government corruption," to get him press coverage represent him in this most important matter.
"No American should be investigated for simply asking a question of a public official," Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said in a statement. "It is unconscionable that high-ranking state officials pried into confidential government files in retaliation for Joe's exercise of his First Amendment rights."
Mmmm!
And we all know how strongly Joe feels about the First Amendment.
He'll win too! Dumocrats are soooo…stupid!
Spoke like a true member of the I Am To Smart, Your Mean! Republican Nosepicker Brigade.
Is this because no one bought your book?….aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahh!
You can wiretap just about anyone under the Patriot Act. Besides, you can find out an amazing amount about anyone without breaking the law between FOIA and credit services.
I agree with Bryan anyone in the governement searching your past because of political motivatio is a bad precedent. I disliked Joe and his shenanigans during the election but this is just plain wrong.
Ms. Philips-Sandy should drop the antagonostic rhetoric and see this for what it is.
So there is no concern over a government searching his files trying to dig up dirt on him? Joe is the bad guy here? The first amendment doesn't apply becuase dems don't like Joe? You can't wiretap terrorists, but it's OK to search a private citizens files because you don;t like him? Get some principles and stick to them.

And how does he know that Ma Bell wasn't listening to his conversation on behalf of the CIA. After all, he could be Joe the Terrorist.
"PAY ATTENTION TO MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!"
Piss off already, Joe.
