Jon Stewart Thinks AIG is Bad, but Maybe Not Prize-Worthy Bad
Why do we keep giving out the Nobel Prize for Evil? It just gives companies like AIG an incentive to be evil.
Who would you like to see get the Prize next?
PERMALINK:

Nice to see John targeting the right source of evil. Great comedy and best episode ever in a while.
Mav what do you truely know about this stimulus bill? did you read it now that you've had time to? Its a safe bet that someone who was just elected president dosn't want to see the country he was elected to turn into a shithole. On the other hand maybe your right and hes working with Al-Qaeda.

LOL @ Obama's anger. HE SIGNED THE FREAKING LEGISLATION THAT GAVE AIG THE BONUSES INTO LAW!!!! "The Buck Stops Here." Okay. Resign.
Jon Stewart is "The Shit". He should be given the Nobel Prize for EXPOSING the most Evil of ANY of his peers and colleagues! He's got the balls AND the intellect(sprinkled with a healthy dose of comedic cynicism) to go toe-to-toe with these financial buffoons and call this financial debacle as he(ALL of us, really) sees it! An absolute and inexcusable travesty! Jon Stewart is my HERO! Jon Stewart for President in 2012! That is if Ron Paul doesn't run again! If Dr. Paul did run again, then he should have Jon as his Vice Presidential running mate! Now THAT would make for some POWERFUL change in D.C., now wouldn't it? HELL YEAH it would!
I have an even better idea to taxing bonuses at AIG at 90%. Everyone in the U.S. is being bailed out by the Chinese and Middle-Easterners who are buying trillions of our Treasury debt and allowing us to live on borrowed dollars. So why don't we just apply this 90% tax to everyone in America?

As much as I loved the Stewart vs. Cramer smackdown, what would REALLY serve the country well is Stewart calling out the politicians who allowed this to happen. Their feigned indignation is far more outrageous than anything CNBC could do. Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, Charlie Rangel should be out on their asses. Enough! America, don't settle for this. We are better than this and we deserve better than this.
