Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert Chew on Teabagging Issue
Jon and Stephen take a hard, veinous look at the not-at-all-Fox-News-organized teabagging parties that spontaneously occurred all around the nation yesterday, led mostly by representatives of Fox News…
Remember the Ewoks!
PERMALINK:

So very odd that none of this complaining and protesting was going on when the massive spending (but not paying for… yet) was going on for things that benefitted no-one except the military and the big corporations. Now, when spending is being done for fast rail, energy research, health care, climate protection… then all of a sudden they are aghast at the waste! But spend FOUR TIMES THAT MUCH (yes, compare the cost of the Iraq war to the current stimulus spending) and that was all just hunky dorey. Sure, this isn't a republican thing. Not a bit. Can I have some more koolaid, the last cup didn't do the trick….
When will those who are peeved about Obama's plan understand that you need to spend money to make money? Just as long as you're putting that money into sound investments, say for instance, programs that create jobs that don't involve going to a non-threatening foreign country where one risks getting blown up by a fanatic who doesn't agree with your lifestyle. We've got to get people working and spending money, and while war has pulled us out of trouble in the past, it's not the answer anymore. And the last 8 years has proven that lowering taxes and deregulating in the private sector provided the shovels to dig our hole even deeper. Times are a changing, tea baggers. Let's give this plan a chance. I know you love your country, as we all do, but you seem to have forgotten that trying things your way is what brought us here. And if you don't like it, there's a whole big world out there that you can uproot to.
bwahahahahahaha. I wonder how many of these people who aren't laughing at this consider themselves part of the top 5% who are going to be hit with tax increases. what a fvcking joke. obama doesn't want to take from the rich, he wants to make all of us rich. people should read the fine print before they spout out their ignorance. your ignorance can harm those around you.
Dennis,
Some guy with a blog of his own, http://cubicpolitics.wordpress.com/, said if I mentioned that he sent me over here, you could get me on The Daily Show, was he lying?
Anyway, love Jon and Stephen. And I wonder if some of the posters here realize that this is satire?
I really laughed at "Joe the Plumber".
Seriously?
