So, all in the course of one week, Nancy Pelosi did not know about incidents torture, and then she remembered that she did know about them all along, and then she forgot that she remembered, and then she forgot to remember to forget that she forgot.

Nancy Pelosi didn't cry foul when the Bush administration briefed her on "enhanced interrogation" of terror suspects in 2002, but her team was locked and loaded to counter hypocrisy charges when the "torture" memos were released last week…

But Pelosi's allies were less prepared to confront the fallout from her convoluted answers during three sessions with reporters last week…

So, these D.C. insiders were fully prepared to get her back on the whole "turning a blind eye on the torture of prisoners" thing, but they got tripped up when asked to defend her for stumbling over her excuses?
